| Fournette vs Scarbrough.... Posted by CRNA-KA Leonard Fournette: 247 youtube Bo Scarbrough: 247 youtube I know Fournette has been discussed at length on the RB and being from La, it is hopeful that he chooses to stay in state and play for the Tigers. My question is, which running back would you pick if you had the choice between the two? I was at a PT clinic in Tn speaking with a Bama fan and we were discussing this topic. From looking at Scarbrough's film, he appears to be more shifty, with stopping and accelerating through the hole. Whereas, Fournette seems to be stronger and more powerful in his running style. From the film, Scarbrough seems to also be used a lot in the passing game. I know Scarbrough is in the backyard of Alabama and its probably unlikely for him to go anywhere else. Based upon Scarbrough's offer list, It appears that LSU has not extended an offer and I am guessing its because the staff wants to concentrate on getting Fournette. I can't imagine both Fournette and Scarbrough choosing Alabama. Does anyone know the 40 times of Fournette and Scarbrough? This post was edited on 7/12 at 9:26 pm Reply Back to Top |
| False, Shea did a article last summer when LSU actually extended an offer... Reply Back to Top |
quote: Fournette. LF appears to have more acceleration from 0 to 10 yards with the same type of down field speed as Bo. Bo definitely showed some nice pass catching ability. Please Fourette, play ball in Tiger Stadium. Reply Back to Top |
| I agree LF is a most keep the boys from da boot here.... Reply Back to Top |
| I agree, I would rather have Fournette in a Tiger uniform but I wonder what sales pitch Saban will be giving him, considering Scarbrough is probably one of their no. 1 recruits. I also wonder if Bama plans on using Scarbrough as a WR. Reply Back to Top |
quote:in the 7 v 7 circuit, LF is used big time as a receiver, so he has good hands as well, St Aug just doesn't need to use him like that as much Reply Back to Top |
| No comparison, Fournette is the real deal hollyfield. Reminds me of Darren McFadden, tall, powerful, after-burner speed. He needs to go where there are other great running backs so as not to get worn out and beat up. Go to a place with great facilities to prepare for the NFL. LSU is that place. Reply Back to Top |
| Scarbrough is the half brother of Reuben Foster. Gotta believe Auburn helped themselves a lot after today. Reply Back to Top |
| It still amazes me that Foster could be committed for a year to Alabama and Scarbrough a YouTube highlight reel favorite for two years, and this just comes out the day Foster flips. Reply Back to Top |
| I'd rather have Fournette, and I felt that way long before today. I just like his running style better, I guess. Hard to go wrong with either one, though. This post was edited on 7/13 at 12:14 am Reply Back to Top |

quote: He's saying that it's strange that the fact that two recruits that have been very high profile for a while just being found to be half brothers is strange that it happened so late, and specifically on the day Foster switched. Reply Back to Top |
| oh ok.., thanks never knew that Reply Back to Top |
| I think I prefer Devon Thomas over either one of them. I swear, he looks like Eric Dickerson (as a soph in high school). Oklahoma guys claim he's the best looking prospect to come out of their state in many years (at any position). Reply Back to Top |

| We will offer a bevy of rbs next year even if we do get Adam Taylor BUt I don't see room for Taylor this year anyway Reply Back to Top |

quote: That's actually good to know. I would be worried about recruiting reporters in general if it were true, because these kinds of things are usually found out early on as everyone is trying to figure out what school may have what advantage due to what connections, familial or otherwise.
