What era of James Bond movies did you grow up watching? Posted by rickgrimes For me it was Pierce Brosnan. Goldeneye is still my favorite Bond movie and the BMW 7 series scene in the parking lot in Tomorrow Never Dies is still my favorite Bond car chase scene.Reply Back to Top
I grew up with Roger Moore, he and For Your Eyes Only will always hold a special place in my heart, but Daniel Craig and Casino Royale are my new favorites. Reply Back to Top
Bond weekend on tv is still one of my favorite holidays. I'm young, so I grew up with Brosnan. Goldeneye was great, but he went downhill from there. As for my favorite movie, I'd go with The Living Daylights. Dalton's Bond is way underrated, IMO. Reply Back to Top

| The first Bond film I saw was Goldeneye, and I saw it in theaters. It was the only Bond film I saw until that year's 007 Days of Christmas on TBS(I think?). The next film I saw was Goldfinger and I was hooked. I think Connery is the best Bond, but I think Roger Moore's Bond is underrated as well. Some of his Bond films are in my top 5 from the series. | Moonraker was my shite. I was almost a teen when Bronson took over. Reply Back to Top |
I grew up during the Roger Moore era but he still sucks Reply Back to Top

Goldeneye was the first I watched because I loved the N64 game so much, and probably my favorite of the entire series though the first 3 Connery movies come pretty close. Reply Back to Top

I'm old. I have seen every single one in a theater. I'm a Thunderball man, with Goldfinger a close second. Connery>Lazenby>Brosnan>Dalton>Craig>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Moore. Reply Back to Top

Roger Moore. My fav Bond movie is by far "For Your Eyes Only." I love that movie. A close second is "The Spy Who Loved Me." Rounding out the top 3 is "Live and Let Die." Brosnan made a great Bond but it was too short lived IMO. Reply Back to Top
I think my first exposure to James Bond was Dr. No, but I was young and it didn't really click at the time. My first real experience was Goldeneye, and I always loved Brosnan's pompous interpretation of Bond. Though I do have all the movies, and one day will have to go on a Bond marathon and see which I truly like best. Reply Back to Top
quote: As did I, although I dimly recall seeing a Connery film in the theatre when I was very, very young. Moore's no Connery, but as someone else said, he's a bit underrated. If anything, he's probably more realistic. You want a deep cover agent to look as much like everyman as possible, not have a palpable aura of badassery like Connery's Bond did. Reply Back to Top |
Bronson as well, but I grew up watching all of them really. My dad is a huge Bond nerd, so I've watched them all multiple times (aside from Quantum of Solace, which just sucked). Reply Back to Top
I grew up during the Brosnan era, but I was an extraordinarily big Bond fan and as a kid my favorites were the Moore ones, since they were most appealing to my juvenile sensibilities. I love almost every Bond movie, with the exceptions of Diamonds are Forever and Die Another Day, but my favorites have to be From Russia With Love, OHMSS, License to Kill, and Goldeneye Reply Back to Top
Brosnan. For the rest of my life, whenever I think of James Bond, I will probably picture him. Reply Back to Top
I have seen them all and I have to say I like Dalton the least. Prolly cause I thought his were cheesey storylines. I am torn between Connery and Brosnan for the best. I am warming up to Craig. Reply Back to Top Refresh
