Posted by dreaux Horrible campaign thus far. As a conservative there is literally unlimited ammunition against Obama. But he isnt saying shite but a blurb or 2, i am dumbfounded by this behavior. I just don't see how he can win, and I am only left to think that he is not supposed too. We are on life support, the chickens are coming home to roost. The only ones that will stand up and say what needs to be said will never get elected. We are left with a spineless patsy for the second time. All one big stinking sham. Some here feel Newt wouldve have been a bad choice, but he is very knowledgable and would call it like it is. Sadly, the GOP does not want this. It's a dead party, big things going on and it's not about what anybody wants except for these unsung traitors. it almost seems like Romney and Obama support each other. Obama will get re-elected and these past 4 years will seem like glory days. Why doesn't anyone care? They are selling our sovereignty, we are being attacked from all directions. When we hit 20% (real unemployment), it's over. We don't stand a chance. We are being fed one massive shitstorm agenda. I might just vote for Obama so we can hurry up and get it over with. | Why you mad tho? Kidding. Romney is milktoast but he is all we realistically have. Newt would have imploded. Herman Cain was never serious. Santorum had a glimmer of hope but never had backing. Etc, etc, etc. Reply Back to Top |

| I'm worried about the too. We can only hope he will go on the offensive soon. There is just so much news to use to accurately portray Obama's failings and bad intentions for the country. I'm not sure Obama could personally handle being ripped daily - with truth. The dude can't even handle visiting a restaurant with Fox News on without "joking" about it. Reply Back to Top |
| Romney has the right look and nice hair though. Most people are stupid and only care about these superficial things. Reply Back to Top |
| I don't give a frick. I'm hoping I don't break the voting booth button pressing it for him over that frickING shite STAIN OBAMA THE WORST PRESIDENT OF ALL TIME. Reply Back to Top |

| Strategy is to not peak to soon, I guess. Look, I just want him to go down swinging. Screw Mr Nice guy. Obama won't play that way....He'll make Romney follow the rules, and beat him over the head with the rule book. Thats why he needs Christie, to not cut em any slack. Reply Back to Top |
| You guys really believe that's the right strategy? To come up guns a blazing negative? It might backfire. Reply Back to Top |
quote: This has crossed my mind many times already. Romney seems to pull punches. He's campaigning scared. To his credit, he did pound Santorum and Gingrich though advertising in the primaries. He'll do the same to Obama. Another criticism of Romney: he always seems rushed when he speaks. He needs to slow down a bit and be a little more deliberate in his delivery. JMO. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Imagine living in a static society where no more advancements are made. Where bureaucrats decide "the" future, not just your future. Suppressed technology and medicines, total welfare state where the many is more important then the individual. No longer free to pursue your ideas and happiness. No longer will you wake up and say "I want to do everything to the BEST of my ability because I want the LIFE and FUTURE I want. Does this not make you want to cry? And if thats not bad enough, you will be labeled a terrorist and a threat to the establishment. This post was edited on 7/6 at 11:18 pm Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Interception on 7/6 at 11:30 pm to dreaux Nobody wanted to run this go round. The rest of the GOP field were even worst than Romney. At least independents are in play and with the economy he doesn't have to be great just acceptable and seem like he has a plan to get us moving. The base has nowhere to go anyway. He needs to find a way to break into the high 20's low 30s with the Hispanics. My problem is that I hear no plan from Romney, nothing bold. He needs to grab hold of the tax code issue and run on that or something that's bipartisan to lure Reagan Dems and Indys.Reply Back to Top |
| Romney's a douche. Hate the fact that he's out best option. It's sad that he's the best the republicans could roll out there. I get the sick feeling that this election has been conceded to Obama. Why? Who the f$%k knows? Reply Back to Top |
quote: It just seems that they don't care. Because ultimately it doesn't matter which one gets elected. Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Interception on 7/6 at 11:48 pm to SmackoverHawg I hear you, understand though there are more states in play for Romney than most GOP candidates. Recent polls in Wisconsin, Iowa, New Hamshire, Michigan give him more possible gains on the map. It's suprising that Virginia and North Carolina are leaning Obama but are naturally GOP states. I think Florida, Missouri are going to go to Romney. Now Colorodo and Ohio are complete toss ups IMO.Reply Back to Top |
Posted by MagicCityBlazer on 7/6 at 11:52 pm to dreaux Woah woah woah. Number 1: People vote in November so why spread your ads out early? Number 2: people are hard to engage, why engage them so early and hope they stay? Number 3: liberals use inevitably like its set in stone. But it isnt. Grow some desire to win. Romney isn't great. But he is way better than McCain. Reply Back to Top |
