| The Big Picture Here Posted by ItsThatDude12 No matter what happens in this next season, this off season has given the Hornets more exposure then Chris Pauls best seasons had gotten us. The excitement in New Orleans, and for Louisiana will spread very fast with the new star power we have added. Davis & Rivers are two names that the casual fan will get excited when he/she hears them. We may have something special similar to what OKC has after drafting their big 3. Hornets basketball is more relevant now than ever, and it's a great time to be a fan. | This is good stuff. OKC is a perfect example of how quickly you can field a competitor with the right picks. I'm really going to enjoy watching this team, and to have a player of the caliber of Anthony Davis... that's just surreal. We don't know how he'll turn out in the NBA, but if his college time is any indication, it's going to be a fun time for Hornets fans. Reply Back to Top |
| Rivers isn't part of our Big 3 but he's a nice piece. We have more than enough money to finish the Trio of Gordon, Davis, and _______. Reply Back to Top |

| Not sure I agree on counting Rivers out as a big time NBA talent. Rivers game fits the NBA more than it does Duke. The guy was the #1 guard in the nation out of High School, and was the alpha dog at Duke. I think he can come in and provide instant offense. Something we have not had since MT5. More importantly he can end up laying PG. Having he and Gordon on the court at the same time will be nice. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
