| My brother's pissing my the frick off, says La Liga>EPL Posted by Bottom9 Please help my back my argument. I show the stats but this dumbass ignores them. He's a huge Barca fan, as am I, but he can't seem to fathom that La Liga is a TWO team league. "Oh but Bilbao beat United." Ok moron, Chelsea beat Barca and he goes on that Chelsea defended all game blah blah blah what a moron crap like this pisses me off Reply Back to Top |

| Spain did perform better overall in Europe this year. I can't think of another way to measure it. Reply Back to Top |

| Yeah, Bottom9 is easily angered. However, I admit to not being as soccer-intelligent as some of you fine folks, but I don't like the whole "defensive football is worse" argument. It's just a style of play and it worked out well for Chelsea. I doubt Chelsea would beat Barca any more than 2 or 3 out of 10 matches but, unfortunately, they got the job done that night. And the 4 that qualified for the CL... oh wait, I mean 3. Sorry Tottenham ![]() Reply Back to Top |

| I wouldnt call it luck. Chelsea ended up being more efficient with the chances they were presented with. Greater efficiency = greater team in this case. You need to score to win the game and barca couldn't do it. God knows they had ample opportunity to do so. Edit: not "greater" team. Bad word choice. But you know where I'm going with it.
