NCAA has gone too far Posted by FightinTiga The NCAA has taken a little too much of the excitement away from college baseball with the new BBCore bats. While I agree a change was needed this new bat is a bit much.At the end of the day these are still just college kids not MLB players.JMHO.Reply Back to Top

I'm hoping this MLB partnership with wooden bats goes through. Reply Back to Top
I agree. They went way over the line but oh well. It's not like it's unfair everyone else has to deal with it too. Reply Back to Top

The pendulum may have swung too far but I think a close, low-scoring game is exciting too. Reply Back to Top

yea not unfair but it has made the games less fun. I miss the home runs and these bats have made ok pitchers into way better pitchers than they should be. Reply Back to Top

rummer has it that the MLB may get involved with college baseball and make us use wooden bats. This would be the worst thing to happen to college baseball IMO I think in all three sports there should be a progression in rules, for example form high school to college football, you play longer in high school, shorter distances between hash marks, along with other things between college and pros one foot in vs two foot in, hash mark differences, differences in the football, along with other things in basketball time differences all three levels, 3 point line all three levels, along with other things lastly in baseball differences in inning between high school and college, bat differences in all three levels, some cases of pitch limitation, along with other things. I think progression should happen in all three sports, the NCAA is taking away this progression and making college more like pros. soon as far as the rules go this will be College MLB Reply Back to Top
