re: Boston will win game 2, if the refs let them

The scheduling doesn't make much sense...sometimes teams had back to back games, sometimes they had 3 days off between games at the same site, sometimes 1 day rest and they were traveling on that day.

People need to get over the ref excuse for this game. Miami was called for 2 more PFs than the Celtics, and only shot 2 more FTs than the Cs. And the Heat were at Home.

Boston will win game 2 if they play better on offense and defense. It will have nothing to do with the refs.

The refs have an effect on this game. There is a reason that the home team wins 62% of the time in the NBA. However, they are not biased in favor of Miami. They just make calls that favor the home team.

Yeah normally, but go look at the PF and FT numbers from the game.

Normally the home team shoots more FTs and gets more calls. Miami was called for more PFs than Boston. And only shot 2 more FTs. So much for Scorecasting.

I personally believe both these teams are inconsistent with their play and their effort. I wouldn't be surprised to see them alternate blowing each other out.

Well, the one thing the Heat are consistent with is winning at home, and they have home court advantage in this series.

I did not mean this game in particular. Also, this was a lower leverage situation with Miami winning by 14. There is no need to favor calls when the home team can win it without help.

I'm not one to defend Bron Bron, but KG is a major POS and was yapping at Lebron. LBJ simply kept his back turned to avoid a confrontation and subsequent tech, ejection, suspension, etc.

Lebron did nothing wrong, frick KG

dude the celtics are old and slow, this series is already over

Unfortunately this is correct. I was hoping for someone to challenge the Spurs because Miami cant and Boston can and Boston isnt even better than Miami

Does this series even matter? Winner of Thunder-Spurs will win the title.

NO. No they won't. They will not win a game in South Beach. If they are lucky, they will go 1-1 in the Garden

Its over for them..

I was surprised celtics were in the game at halftime. I figured they had no shot in game 1. Game 2 was likely the one they were gonna really try and take.

As much as I love him, I know KG is trashy, but I don't get why LeBron wouldn't go after him. He knows that if they have an altercation that KG would probably be suspended and Bron would only get a tech.

Every time Miami wins, the usual suspects show up here to cry about Ref bias, or the NBA is making refs call in their favor, or Miami cheated. . .

It is so laughably sad.

I was hoping for a good series, but I'm not sure after last night. Nevermind the Celtics poor shooting, they looked really slow on D. Miami had way too many easy looks around the rim.

It was funny seeing the bias in the game thread when it happened. A page or 2 of just post after posy saying that's why lebron is a douche. But I don't know if there was even one post about Garnett there

Spurs will beat Heat or Celtics........so this series is pointless.

I just love threads like this...refs didn't cost them the game..not even remotely correct.

geez

the refs did what they were suppose to do, set the tone for this entire series. Not going to put up with what happened in the pacers/heat series. Bottom line, the celtics where complaining way too much, and the refs put them in their place

I told you. Boston played great, as I knew they would and should have won. The no-call when Rondo got hit in the face was huge. Chris Broussard called it on ESPN after the game. Then, they gave Wade the foul call when he kicks KG.

47 FTA for the Heat. 29 for the Celtics.

Point proven.
