re: OT Work Out Crew: How much is your gym membership and how do you like your gym? City Club for myself runs about $130. It was above $150 when I had the ex on the plan. It's a small, but surpisingly efficient gym. Much better than snap/anytime gyms. Couldn't hold a candle to Red's, but for me CC's location is more convenient. Reply Back to Top
37 and I like it for most part, just wish it was larger with more equipment sometimes because it does get crowded Reply Back to Top

Posted by JOJO Hammer on 5/15 at 10:01 am to LNCHBOX $40/month at AnytimeFitness in Douchtown. Great gym, it hase everything you can want and they are currently expanding to include cross fit training. Only complaint is the 5:00 to 7:00 PM crowd. To many kids taking up equipment but doing nothing. Reply Back to Top |

Buy a power rack a bar and weights and you will be good to go and never need to pay a membership again. You can always add equipment later, like a dip bar, if you want it. I would have real trouble going to a commercial gym at this point. I use all of the chalk I want at home while I turn the music up as loud as I would like and do what I please without waiting in line to use any of the equipment. Reply Back to Top

I pay $10 a month Mine is a decent size, maybe like half the size of winn dixie on burbank. all with brand new weights and machines. And they don't really care if I bring guest either. Only downfall is the ration of women to stare at and make feel uncomfortable. Its a little bit of and older crowd, maybe 1 out of every 10 people that walk in are under 25. Reply Back to Top
My gym membeship is 25 dollars per year. I love it because it is a bunch of D1 and Juco football players along with a ton of Gang bangers. No Cardio bunnies or guys staring at your every repetitions. Just a ton of hard work and intensity. Reply Back to Top
$100 for my wife and I at Red's. The gym is nearly 200k square feet. It's definitely the best bang for your buck in the Lafayette region. I also play tennis at Oakbourne. That runs about $65 a month. That's my only gripe with Red's is that the tennis program is terrible. Reply Back to Top

$38/mo. at Centurion in B.R. 24/7, quality equipment, lots of space. Never had to wait for someone to use a machine and have always been able to go in, do my thing and leave in a timely manner. Owner is around everyday and keeps the place clean. Only been a member since Feb, but coming from Anytime and Snap, this is head and shoulders above the others. Reply Back to Top
My work pays for half my membership if I go 8 times per month. It is geared more like a healthy living club (Tons of classes) and the weight room seems more like an after thought. For example, only three Olympic barbells spread between 5 benches and a power rack. Also the dumb bells only go up to 100...lame Reply Back to Top
27 a month at Spectrum Southdowns. New and great. Reply Back to Top
$24.99/month at L.A. Fitness. Love that there are locations all over so I can go to anyone I want. I pay $150/month for 6 personal training sessions/month. If I don't use all 6 in a month they just go in a bank and never expire as long as I'm a member of L.A. Fitness. Reply Back to Top
snap and i love it also free Reply Back to Top
YMCA Paula Manship location. $70 something for the wife and I. We both are happy with it. Reply Back to Top
Foxy's in Pville. I like it, it is close to the house and fairly up to date. I would like to see some different equipment/newer equipment. I think mine is about 40 bucks a month. I dont know because I pay it out for the year Reply Back to Top Refresh
