Hornets fans were money in the playoffs Posted by MinnesotaTiger remember our epic "STOP THE FLOP" chants v's Dallas and San Antonio? Would love to see the Grizz fans bust that out directed at CP3 and Griffen, but they seem flat as hell tonight.Reply Back to Top
I love our fans in the playoffs. Say what you want about Wednesday night games and regular season attendance during a re-building year, but that arena was lit last year for Game 4 vs. the Lakers. I was lucky enough to be in attendance for Game 5 against the Mavs and the fantastic "stop the flop" chant. It all started with a fan's sign if I remember correctly. Reply Back to Top
I don't see how "Stop the Flop" hasn't become a staple chant around the NBA against teams like the 08 Spurs and Mavs and this year's Clippers. It's annoying and the refs can probably be influenced to call that shite if the fans got on it. Reply Back to Top

Posted by Tigersfan on 5/9 at 9:22 pm to MinnesotaTiger Don't forget the dude that busted out that Eva Longoria life size cardboard cutout against SA when Parker was shooting free throws. Reply Back to Top |
That was classic. I remember SI ran a 2-page spread on it in the opening photograph section. Reply Back to Top
If Pargo makes that shot......mayhem....fricking mayhem Reply Back to Top

Q-Pon stepping up for the Grizz, haha And I'll never forget that Pargo shot. A Finals appearance was not out of the question. The Lakers couldn't defend the pick & roll to save their lives This post was edited on 5/9 at 9:32 pm Reply Back to Top

That's was an incredible season. Looking back though, the sad thing was that after we lost everyone thought we were a young upcoming team that would be back. SA was the old team getting older by the day. 4 years later no one from that Hornets team remains and SA is the best team in basketball led by the same 3 old arse dudes. Reply Back to Top

quote: On the bright side, it could've been worse. You could've been a Portland fan and had really high hopes a few years ago with the young up and coming "big three." Now 2 of those 3 are not currently playing basketball. Reply Back to Top |
ya, it's a great time to be a Nuggets fan right now Reply Back to Top
New Orleans is one of the great sports towns in the country without a doubt. Our fans are amazing when we get in the playoffs...Hornets and Saints both Reply Back to Top
