| Just a reminder: Mainieri is the best tournament coach in college baseball 5 straight Big East tournament championships (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006) 3 straight SEC tournament championships (2008, 2009, 2010) throw a CWS championship in there as well The man knows how to manage his staff in tournaments. | pretty amazing resume there... It's a given that PM is a good coach, but I can't help but wonder if all those tournament titles are just dumb luck/randomness (in a sense) or if the man does something in tourneys that really helps his teams relative to other coaches/teams....(personality/demeanor/strategy/etc).
