| I wouldn't worry about it. At one point in 2006 we were ranked #4 in the World LOL. I would say our squad and program now is significantly better than it was in 2006. We are getting better and better. Our programs is on the upswing. It'll just take a few years. Reply • Back to Top |
| I think it's a pretty solid reflection of our standing in the soccer world. If you look at the 15 teams in front of us: quote: We'd win some, we'd lose some.... but we'd expect to be competitive in all. We were a *little* out of our element against France, but their ranking is probably a little low. If you look at the 15 after us: quote: I would EXPECT to win more of these then we lose. | FIFA rankings are essentially meaningless. They are a stupid aggregate score of all international results with more weight placed on the past four years. LOL @ England, Croatia, Denmark, Greece, Ireland, Switzerland, and Australia being so high. I'm not sure Portugal should be ahead of Brazil and Argentina. France should be higher. Belgium should definitely be higher. Are they really worse than Gabon, Zambia, or Algeria? Come on. Reply • Back to Top |
