| I was under the impression it couldn't be sold commercially. Reply Back to Top |
| Will call bergerons in the morning. I am working on the assumption that you can't sell it anymore. My dad used to make it when I was young. Sadly it is a skill I didn't learn. Reply Back to Top |
Posted by fightin tigers on 5/8 at 7:04 pm to 800lbgorilla Pretty sure your cant legally sell it. From what I understand it is Cuban cigars, good only because your not supposed to have it.Reply Back to Top |
| I don't think they sell that. Reply Back to Top |
| The closest place to get it to BR that I know of is in Breaux Bridge. You can sell it legally, but you can't sell or transport pig blood. Therefore the only places that can legally make and sell blood boudin are slaughter houses. There is a world of information on boudinlink.com Reply Back to Top |

| Anyone ever try bar-b-qued boudin? I had some and was shocked at how good it was. Very similar to boiling, just didn't think it would be, cooking it over a fire. Reply Back to Top |
Posted by joeleblanc on 5/8 at 9:33 pm to Geauxtiga Bought some a few years ago in Abbeville at Richard's Meat Market. You can make it, but i'm told an Ag Inspector has to be onsite while its being made. I think they only make it once a month on Saturday mornings.Reply Back to Top |
| Here is the boudinlink review of Babineaux's blood/red boudin. LINK Reply Back to Top |
| It's awesome but I've only had it home made at a couchon de lait, never seen it for sale. Grilled/smoked boudin is the tits. Been doing this for years. Reply Back to Top |
