| The only former Hornet on Memphis is Quincy Pondexter, who I feel didn't have much of a following when he was here. This post was edited on 5/6 at 10:37 am Reply Back to Top |

| Chris Paul was not human last night. If they pull this out the next series against the spurs will be interesting. Reply Back to Top |
| classic playoff CP3. I'm not rooting for them to lose, but I'm also not rooting for them to win, if that makes sense. I only hate them when they play NO. Reply Back to Top |
| I like CP3, he felt his best chance to win now was to move. He also didn't screw us over. Only time will tell if he is right. On a side note, I only watched the 4th quarter/OT and Griffin had 2 obvious flops. I can see why people hate the floppers, Griffin is a drama queen. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I have never liked him, but this year intensified that because they were on TV so much. He needs to cut that flopping shite out or he will keep getting Smiht'd Reply Back to Top |
quote: quote: So, you can see why people hate Chris Paul? Seriously, though, had he not manipulated the franchise and trade market to try to force his way to the Lakers, I probably wouldn't be as galvanized against him. The Lebrongency act is the reason why I lost respect for Chrissy Poo. Dickslappers gone slap dick. Reply Back to Top |
| LINK Jason Smith Smith hit him before he was in the air. I like the hard foul. No easy buckets in NOLA Reply Back to Top |
quote: I hate the Clippers. I don't hate Chris Paul. He at least told Demps he wasn't going to sign. we got a great deal to start over. Lebron just royally screwd the Cavs and left them with nothing. I do wish CP3 would have signed a 10 year deal for very cheap for us to build around him. But that is a dream that did not come true. If we get lucky in the lotto, then I will feel even better about him leaving. Reply Back to Top |
quote: you do know that the Cavs at least got a few draft picks, if i remember correctly...not to mention that fact that he was a FREE AGENT and could do whatever he wanted Reply Back to Top |
| yea, he strung them along. CP3 gave us the heads up and got us a greater trade than the Cavs did. I was replying that CP3 and Lebrons situation was very different. I would never compare the 2. Reply Back to Top |
| LINK I was confused what the Cavs ended up getting. What article says: MIAMI GETS: •LeBron James, who signs a 6-year, $110 million contract CLEVELAND GETS: •Two first-round picks, that must be used starting in 2013 and ending by 2017 •2012 second-round pick Miami received from New Orleans •Future second-round pick Heat acquired from Oklahoma City •Cleveland can also swap first round picks with the Heat in 2012 •A large trade exception($15 million or so) that the Cavs must use in trades for one calendar year. My guess is the 2 1st round draft picks will not end up being in the top 20.... but who knows, wilder stuff has happened. I'll take Gordon, Kaman, Aminu, and the # 10 pick all day over the other trade. If LeBron acted like CP3, the Cavs would be sitting a lot prettier than us. Rather than what is really happening with the 2 franchises. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Yes, and then he had his Lebrongency undercut his trade value through "rumors" that he wouldn't play or resign with anyone but the Knicks or Lakers. We could have gotten a better deal, but they kept devaluing him through back channels. Also, do you remember all the "Oh, I don't want to be traded" crap? Yeah, he wasn't trying to force a trade. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't hide his true feelings when the Lakers trade didn't go through. The problem I have is that he was trying to play both sides of the coin. He wanted to act like the good guy to the public (saying he wasn't forcing a trade) while having his Lebrongency do the dirty work for him. He was just trying to build in deniability, and it exposed him as a liar. Reply Back to Top |
| dude i don't want to get into it on the Hornets board but my point: . your head: O Reply Back to Top |
quote: That last part is total nonsense. Lebron was expired, so the value is going to be substantially less. The only value in trading for him would be to increase the amount the Heat could pay him. Reply Back to Top |
| the problem is that he said he DIDNT want to compare the two, but he DID. and it's two totally different situations. Reply Back to Top |
