| Not a committable offer Reply Back to Top |
| rabalais saying he's committed. This post was edited on 5/7 at 12:27 pm Reply Back to Top |
| Lots of people saying he's committed aside from most LSU people. I tend to take the LSu people's side on things like that. Kind of similar to TAM and Jamar Gibson. No one seems to know definitively whether he's a commit or not. We'll know for sure either way eventually. Reply Back to Top |
| He's coming to camp, i'm guessing next month. If LSU likes the way he looks coming off his knee injury then his commitment will be officially accepted. This is how I understand it, i could be wrong. Reply Back to Top |
| like Storm. Reply Back to Top |
quote: This seems to be both reasonable and plausible. Especially given that there isn't any blow back from Taylor's side. This isn't anything like the Storm fiasco imo. Reply Back to Top |
quote: That's what I hear as well. I was told that in the last three years the only player LSU has signed who didn't go to LSU's camp was Zack Mettenberger. I knew they emphasized the camp but not THAT much. Reply Back to Top |
| People forget that some of those guys had been going to camp since they were freshmen. Rueben Randle had been killing it at LSU camp since he was about 15. Reply Back to Top |
| no way all the players went to camp. we got boone late only after gonzales was hired. what about corey thompson or the jc ol we got late from hawaii this year maybe its all players have made it to campus. how do we know taylor did/didn't attend camp after soph. year? Reply Back to Top |
| I think Thompson camped here one year in HS. Can't speak to Boone. But would he count in the last three years' classes? Reply Back to Top |
| Idk about the last 3 years but Les did say everyone except mett in the 2011 class camped. Reply Back to Top |
| The "camp and it's official" thing is what I believe to be the case as well just from reading the tealeaves. Question is what happens if they don't like what they see at camp? Why not go see him in spring practice and then tell him to come camp and it will be accepted? Probably semantics. It wouldn't suprise me if most kids had camped with us since most of our last 3 classes have been LA kids but I know they didn't all camp. The JC OL didn't camp and I'm pretty sure Jerrard Randall didn't camp. That year our camp was a Stephen Rivers, Dak Prescott(spurned us for MSU) and I believe there was another kid competition for an offer. Don't think Boone camped either and he was in the past 3 classes. There may be more but for the most part kids that end up in our classes camped with us. Reply Back to Top |

quote: I don't think we ever really offered him. We were on him, but slow played him big time. Reply Back to Top |
quote:We slow played him but pretty sure we did eventually offer. All the paysites were reporting that Prescott got a late offer and a personal hard push from Miles, but stuck with State. This post was edited on 5/7 at 3:44 pm Reply Back to Top |
| Thanks. I couldn't remember the 2 kids competing with Rivers. Thought Douglas and completely forgot about Oliver. Anyone heard anything on Oliver at Northwestern? I love Fitzgerald and that offense is designed to make qbs look good. Didn't know when the statement was made. Was just going off the last 3 classes but if the statement was made before Randall signed then that doesn't even take into to account the most recent class so the statement could be considered dated at this point.
