Former Carencro QB and Tulsa WR Transferring to ULL Posted by ItsThatDude12 Ricky Johnson just announced he was gonna be a ragin cajun next season. He only has 1 year left of eligibility. Not sure if he will have to sit this season. Big pickup for the cajuns, he and Devin Figaro would be a sick tandem. Reply Back to Top

Posted by Broseph Barksdale on 5/6 at 6:36 pm to ItsThatDude12 Weird time to transfer, with only one year left. Good player. I am sure he'll get a wavier if he's going back home.Reply Back to Top |
Yeah I played with him in high school. 6'1 about 200 - 205 legit 4.5 with a pretty good vertical. He should do well if he can keep his head straight. He was the best athlete at WR for tulsa (once damaris johnson left) but he didn't mesh with the coaches. Reply Back to Top
What were his stats at tulssa Reply Back to Top
Not sure I don't think they were all that great. I think he has a chance to do we'll at UL though. Reply Back to Top

So you're pimping a guy because he was good in HS? Reply Back to Top
he's had 11 starts 30 receptions 422 yards and 3 TD's 14 ypr Also, how exactly am I pimping him? I'm happy for the guy who will get a chance to get on track in his hometown. Of course your going to bring some negativity into this thread. This post was edited on 5/6 at 9:58 pm Reply Back to Top
well you called it a big pickup. I asked how he did at tulsa and you admittedly didn't know. you talked about how good he was in high school. so i figured that is what you were basing it on. i just asked a question about his stats. I dont see how that is negative Reply Back to Top
I think it is a big pickup. Obviously if he would've been an all-american at Tulsa he wouldn't of transferred. I think the has the ABILITY to be a good reciever for ULL. From a size and speed standpoint he is legit. Reply Back to Top
Wasn't he one a Clean All-Star? Reply Back to Top
Always wondered how does a college football player on scholarship go about getting recruited by other schools? I can see when a school let's the player know he is welcome and even encouraged to look around. But how about those players that are not being showed the door get other schools attention without letting their existing coaches know they are exploring? Reply Back to Top
He was a top 20 player in the state his senior year. I think he made all-state as a Jr. in 5A. Clean prob had him ranked pretty high. Reply Back to Top
