| So The Killing is just an improved version of Twin Peaks Posted by iwyLSUiwy Who killed Laura Palmer? Who killed Rosie Larson? ** I've only seen sea. 1 of The Killing, so no sea. 2 spoilers please ** The amount of characters Twin Peaks had in two seasons was unreal. Hard to compare characters but the majority of them on The Killing are pretty solid. Twin Peaks; not so much. Dale Cooper is awesome, no questions asked, he made the show. A number of other characters were very solid, I would say my second favorite would be Aubrey Horn. She was excellent until Billy Zane came and screwed it up. Characters that sucked on Twin Peaks: James - absolutely one of the worst tv characters of all time. Him and Donna combined their powers to make Captain Get Off My Screen. James served absolutely no purpose to the show, none whatsoever. He just cried like a freaking baby of the girl drama he had. Get over yourself you freaking tool. Donna - Donna was this innocent chick and then all of a sudden when her cousin comes to visit after that she's a chain smoker that only can whisper. What's that Donna I can't hear you? Never mind shutup I don't care. Josie and Sherriff love affair: Kill me please with these two acting skills. Sherriff's personality is about as dry as a dingleberry. And Josie, this is America, speak English or we'll stick a boot up your ass. But, the two shows have a similar concept with Linden and Holder as a team like Coop and Truman. Everybody is a suspect in each, the dad being a major in both. Overall the acting in The Killing is >>>>> than Twin Peaks. Twin Peaks became a straight up soap opera for a long portion of season 2 and barely recovered in time to have a decent finish. The spiritistic aspect was a bit of a cop out if you ask me. I also liked the ending of season 1 of The Killing. I heard it took some heat but I don't mind a cliffhanger and that one was very legit. Reply Back to Top |

| I loved the midget in the red room. I think I was 6 when TP came out and loved it. Reply Back to Top |
quote: They did have some fitting creepy scenes, but they needed to switch it up some. All three songs were very good Reply Back to Top Refresh |
