| Ljajic is always a must purchase on FIFA manager mode for me. ETA: I never punch him, though This post was edited on 5/3 at 12:45 pm Reply Back to Top |
The comments on the video are interesting. Some are saying there was stuff said about his disabled son? Anyone hear about why this happened? This post was edited on 5/3 at 3:07 pm Reply Back to Top |
Posted by joey barton on 5/3 at 4:57 pm to BleedPurpleGold Serbian FA is fully behind Ljajic So, that's very likely Reply Back to Top |
Posted by joey barton on 5/3 at 4:59 pm to Stewie Griffin If you've thrown a controller, you've punched the player that you were controlling, imo For whatever reason, I didn't realize that Ljajic had never actually signed for Manchester United Reply Back to Top |

Posted by wm72 on 5/3 at 5:30 pm to LSUSOBEAST1 quote: The AVB rumors have been expanding like wildfire since this weekend. I don't have any idea how serious they are. His agent was interviewed on the radio yesterday and implied interest from both sides. Though that may well be a ploy on the agent's part. According to many people, he was Roma's first choice last year before he went to Chelsea. I liked AVB at Porto but am not sure how I feel about him at Roma with this team. I actually really want Luis Enrique to come back for one more year although all the signs are pointing to him stepping down. Reply Back to Top |

| Ooooh. Gotcha. I don't know enough about Roma to really comment, but I do like AVB as a manager. I still think his timing in London was pretty unlucky. Reply Back to Top |
Posted by wm72 on 5/3 at 6:25 pm to LSUSOBEAST1 quote: I completely agree about the Chelsea job being a horrible fit for him and I agree that he seems to have a really good mind for the game. I'd put AVB pretty high on the list of managers I'd be pleased to get at Roma. Still, if LE steps down I would absolutely love to bring Luciano Spalletti back with an ownership group that has a decent budget. He worked wonders during the period that the Sensi family declared bankruptcy and we had to sell players like Aquilani. I think he's the most underrated manager in the game, bar none. I also have a sneaking suspicion that he wasn't joking when he recently said he has "AS Roma" tattooed on his balls. This post was edited on 5/3 at 6:26 pm Reply Back to Top |
quote: I saw on a Italian journalist's twitter feed that he was getting unconfirmed reports that Ljajic told Rossi as he walked into the dugout "you're more disabled than your child". However, now he's saying the story is apparently not true and Rossi doesn't even have a disabled kid. Football Italia is reporting Ljajic has been suspended for the remainder of the season and was fined, so he must've said something pretty bad for Rossi to lose his shite like that. Posted by wm72 on 5/3 at 11:26 pm to LSUSOBEAST1 quote: It's really too bad how things have gone for Aquilani. I think he could've been a very good player for Liverpool without the nagging injuries under Rafa, though his tendency to miss a lot of time has been concerning the past 3 years. I had hoped Kenny would've have given him a chance this season. He was kind of moved into such temporary loan situations at Juve (building a midfield of athletic runners around Pirlo) and AC Milan (who supposedly have their eye on Montolivo as a DLP surrounded by steel instead). I would love to have him back at Roma. This post was edited on 5/3 at 11:29 pm Reply Back to Top |
| I really really think he will get an opportunity when he gets back. We are so desperately lacking a creative mid and he just fits the pass and move mold so perfectly. I really think he could create a great partnership with Gerrard and Suarez. I would hate to see him go again. It's been unfortunate how things at LFC have gone for him. I hope he gets a shot. Posted by wm72 on 5/3 at 11:39 pm to LSUSOBEAST1 quote: I hope he does. I agree that for all the problems Liverpool have had finding creativity from the midfield it's been a head scratcher that they sent out Il Principino. Even in his limited time this pre-season, he seemed to add some much needed dynamism to the attack every time he came on. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
