re: Ron Paul could win Michigan tomorrow nightquote: Both the sig quote and picture are from Mel Brook's "History of the World: Part 1" LINK For josh: I understand that Paul's home state is Texas and he has had huge turnouts at rally's in California. However, how does Paul plan to keep Romney from winning the primaries by huge enough margins to pretty much rap up the nomination? California seems like prime Romney country and Santorum and Gingrich can't split up the vote anymore in Texas. Like it or not, but Paul can't win a republican primary against Romney's money. quote: Romney will only get MAYBE 100 delegates out of Texas, and the hope of Paul supporters is to unbound them or WTA them (depending on outcome) at the state convention. And in California Paul will certainly win some CD's (Probably around LA and San Francisco and the more liberal areas). They'll continue to try and get as many "stealth" delegates as they can and perhaps "abstain" at the convention if they are Romney delegates. Reply Back to Top |

| I have absolutely no freaking clue what ya'll are talking about. As long as Ron Paul does good, I'm happy. Reply Back to Top |
| With so many delegates still up for grabs and Romney only needing like 300 more for the nomination, I just don't see how he can be stopped unless a giant army of Rom Paul supporters who actually show up to vote appear on the horizon lead by Renly's ghost to take Romney's army from the rear. Barring some GOT style coup stuff happening, all of the Paulite delegates that are pledged to Romney being able to "abstain" on the first ballot, or serious Ron Paul shenanigans at every remaining state caucus I just can't see this happening. If it does, by some miracle, I will actively volunteer and campaign for Paul to save the country. Reply Back to Top |
| There is one other option. If a few percent of the Republicans who incessantly complain about how they want smaller less intrusive government, less spending, and lower taxes would actually vote for Paul then Romney would not get to 1144, and Paul would probably get the nomination.
