I really feel sorry for Carroll. He is just set up to fail with squads like that. No real quality to feed him crosses. Such a shame.

Spearing had a bad game.

Like I said, I still think we should have played Carroll and Suarez. I know Suarez is being rested for this weekend, but I still think we could have gotten at least an hour from him. He just brings so much spark and life to the squad. Giving the younger guys the chance to play with him does wonders for their creativity. Not to mention the middle was wide open all match.

Still, a lot of youth today. Coates, Henderson, Shelvey, Carroll, Kelly, Sterling, Spearing etc. I don't think any of us expected them to blow Fulham out of the water. Good to see them getting some action.

PS Anfield was fricking dead. What is up with that?

More or less. Squad seemed like they didn't give a flying frick.

Disappointing to say the least. We should have started at least some of the guys that would be playing Saturday.

Even with the poor surrounding support I thought he played incredibly well. Especially in the 1st.

He was beyond awful. I can't speak enough about how bad he was. Just really, really, really crappy game on his part in all aspects.

Agreed. We needed to keep up not only his form, but the optimism our recent wins have given us. Poor decision on Kenny's part.

I know I commented on it in the game thread. I've never heard the place that quiet.

He did. Which just makes it worse for me. He did well with the little he had to work with and we are again left wondering what might be if he had 5-6 quality crosses a game.

Everybody just put that match behind them and get ready for the weekend. FA CUP!! Lift your spirits by watching this:

It really is agonizing because they seem to miss him by just a few feet every single time.

I don't even care. I'm over it.

Bring on Chelsea.

It physically can't be even 1/3 of that FA Cup final.

good god Spearing and Shelvey were absolute shite today. Lots of effort, but just no quality whatsoever.

Thought Carroll looked good though.

Anyways, whatever...on to Saturday.

Another little random fact in our season of depressing stats:

Liverpool scored their lowest amount of goals at Anfield in 1903 with 23 put in......

Until this year.

We have 20. That means we have to score 3 against Chelsea or we will break the records books yet again.

frick this year.

Yeah. I want to say that only Wolves have scored less than we have at home, or something along those lines.
