Update: Odoh in summer school trying to graduate. LSU waiting on eligibility? Posted by Bubba Hotep There have been many posts on the potential of LSU stealing North Texas JUCO center signee John Odoh, which have been based strictly on the presumption that he would come, LSU would want him and North Texas would release him. I have had my doubts about all of that, and I still do. However, an article today in the Denton newspaper makes it appear that Odoh to North Texas is not a done deal. quote: LINK This post was edited on 6/11 at 10:10 am Reply Back to Top
I hope Odoh doesnt fit in the mix at UNT. We sure could use a big body. Reply Back to Top

Would be a nice get, but still not holding my breath. I think when the dust settles there will be a very different roster with some new bigs. Him and Okafor would be nice to pair with JOB as his offense should be better this year but could use a rebounding D guy next to him who can force teams to keep a body on him. Reply Back to Top

I really don't think Swilling is even on the table right now, but I could be wrong. I don't think any players are leaving. I thought one or two were, but they would have already announced. The longer they wait, the fewer options they will have, as scholarships get filled up. Reply Back to Top

quote: What do you mean he's not even on the table right now? I thought it was a done deal he's coming here. quote: And where are we with this? Has he signed? Is he still committed? Has he opened it up? Reply Back to Top |
Swilling was a little premature on his commitment. It seems he had no offer. I knew it was wierd, because he's never even visited. I think LSU must be stringing him along as an emergency back up, just in case someone transfers. Reply Back to Top Refresh
