I love Ryan Anderson. He is everything that the Hornets are missing. A big who can shoot it from anywhere that is big enough to defend centers. He will make a ton of money in a year or two.

I'm not being negative here, but that might be the worst article written since cavemen were writing on the back of leaves.

Yea, he will get a large payday soon b/c of this season. He was probably the most improved player in the league

I'm not here to critique articles, I'm here to read its content

What was wrong with it? It's just a fan blog with potential trade/FA targets. I do think it's a little funny that McNamara has constantly ripped his blog partner Ryan Schwan for thinking Okafor could be traded in the past and here Okafor is pretty much the centerpiece of all of his trade ideas. To me going after Asik was the most realistic scenario listed. Chicago just can't afford to keep him and he's so limited offensively that only certain teams will go after him.

My dream would be to get rondo and Anderson.

Rondo/Vasquez
Gordon/Henry
Ariza
Anderson/Ayon
Smith?

Toss in one of Davis, Robinson, MKG, or Drummond and that's a top team. Also need another center.

Haven't even thought about salary cap, so I don't know what everyone would be paid I this scenario.

It's mostly unrealistic ideas just thrown on the wall to see what sticks. Bleacher Report on a name site.

The Amare talk is just absurd. So the Hornets should take back a 30 year old Amare who still has 3/$64 left on his contract, has uninsurable knees, and has looked like a shell of his former self? Oh and he is arguably the worst defensive starter in the league. That will get the Hornets into the playoffs next year.

Boozer is another one that is a Bower type move. Grab a guy who is paid like a star, but hasn't been able to be a legit number 2 option with DWill and Rose. Why not just draft Jared Sullinger in the lottery? He's a short, below the rim player, who will rebound and is also not 30 with 3/$46 million left on his contract.

I will say I do like his thoughts on Anderson/Asik. Add those two to EG and whatever they get in the draft and that's an interesting set of pieces.

Not sure how realistic getting Anderson/Asik is. Both are RFA on capped out teams, but I imagine there will be a healthy market for both. Anderson could get a max or near max offer- maybe starting at 4/$45. He's been that good this year.

Hornets fans have been dreaming about landing Iguodala for a long time. Don't think it is going to happen.

You've been doing your research. I'll give you that.

Not a 'terrible' move. I'd rather Turner than Ariza

The "Book it" line about Bosh being gone if they don't win the finals is ridiculous.

They have won 100 games the last two years. They win the title last year if their best player doesn't disappear against the Mavs. Now they are going to blow it up for Ariza, Okafor, and Milsap?

I respect the time and effort those guys put into the site. But I just don't take them very seriously.

You mean you don't want to trade for Carlos Boozer?

i'd love josh smith but i doubt that happens

granger? ok maybe. if we just give up cap space i'm for it

granger and asik, plus Trob and Marshall in the draft would be nice

Marshall/Jack
Godon/Jack
Granger/Ariza
TRob/Smith
Asik/Okafor

solid 9-man rotation. if marshall/robinson develop, gordon stays healthy, and we get lucky down the road getting a better/defensive 5 we could challenge for a western title

Only if we already have Gordon extended. I wouldn't want to give them any more cap space with EG clearly being on their wishlist. And I'm not as high on him as I used to be, his FG% has dropped in all but one season, and he shot the same as Ariza did this season. He may do better as a clear cut second option, though.

The real problem with the Heat is Wade. Trading Wade would probably make the Heat ridiculously good as they would have to get a legit big for him.

Wade just takes away from the best player in the world completely running the show. Wade doesn't play nearly as well without the ball in his hands so he isn't very complimentary to James.

Bosh is a 20/10 talent. You don't trade that away with the offensive problem is the way Wade fits with the team.

Don't think I would want Stoudamire. Knees are bad and can't play defense.

I love rondo, and if we can get a solid big in the draft and keep Gordon healthy (along with Jason Smith), he would have some legit people to assist.
