quote: Orlando at one point in time were interested in him as part of a Dwight trade package. Howard supposedly plans to ask to be traded again once the season is over. Just because he opted in doesn't mean he'll play in Orlando next year. Reply Back to Top |

| possibly...depends on Ariza, who we draft, and whether or not we plan on really competing in the next couple of years. Reply Back to Top |

| Older, injury prone vet that is seeking an overpriced contract? Jeff Bower faints from excitement Dell Demps just LULZ Reply Back to Top |
| Too expensive for what you get inreturn Reply Back to Top |
| God damn, so the Nets traded a top 7 pick to rent a guy in a meaningless season? This has to be in the top 3 worst trades in NBA history. Reply Back to Top |

quote: I think the Peja deal falls into that category. And I don't hate that deal the way I do the MoPete and Posey deals. And certainly trading Chandler for Okafor was purely a "If we don't cut payroll, we don't make payroll" move. But Bower wanted to deal Chandler for Mark Blount. And send Juju (still an asset, whom Demps turned into Belinelli) to OKC instead of MoPete (older, more expensive) in the Aldrich deal. Bower just seemed to have a hard on for past their prime vets. Maybe it was Scott, maybe it was the fact that Bowen/Ely types cost less on a minimum deal than younger guys. I'm just glad we have a real owner and a forward thinking GM Reply Back to Top |
