Stevan Ridley or Jamaal Charles? Posted by Thundercles Truly torn here. I'm in an auction keeper league with a $200 budget. I picked up Charles mid season with plans to keep him, and I have Ridley on my roster as well. I can keep Charles for $7 or Ridley for $2. I'm torn on who is going to have the better future. Charles was great for a season then got last season wrecked. Now he's coming off a major injury with a workhouse back (Peyton Hillis) to share the load. Ridley has always had the potential but is unproven. He put up crazy numbers in preseason and the last few games of the season, and with BJGE gone he is the only true running back they have and is primed for the future. Thoughts on this? I am leaning toward Ridley currently. Reply Back to Top
Charles. He had no issues having a big season when he and Jones were splitting carries. Hillis shouldn't hurt his value... especially for 7 whooping dollars. Ridley plays for Bilicheck that plays a large rotation(Vereen/Woodhead/etc.) and in a heavy passing attack. Reply Back to Top

There was a veteran back the Pats brought in last week who they had high interest in. It's slipping me who exactly It was. But it was someone that would've started over Ridley ETA: it was tim hightower they also worked out Ryan Grant This post was edited on 4/26 at 1:39 pm Reply Back to Top
Shane Vareen too Pats will never have a true #1 back Charles is a top 5 RB. It's a no brainer Reply Back to Top

this should not even be close......not for $5 difference. Reply Back to Top
This is probably why I have never won my league Reply Back to Top
Charles. He has top end potential if he is healthy and has shown he can put up that production while sharing the carries. Ridley Patriots tend to split the work up and his value may be highly TD dependent. For a $5 difference Charles is the best value. Reply Back to Top Refresh
