| Where Would Russel Shepard Have Been Taken in This Year's Draft? Posted by Tiger Ryno Shep made the tough decision to come back to school to finish his degree rather than jump to the fame and millions of a big time NFL career. I know it wasn't an easy decision For argument sakes, if he didn't pass up the chance to jump to all of the millions this year and did throw his hat in the ring, where would he have been taken and who would he have bumped down a few pegs? There are quite a few teams at the top that really need quality leaders and WR. Reply Back to Top |

| Serious question: Since he's been here (not his 5 star rating or good interviews prior to coming here), what has he done to warrant this: "quality leaders and WR." Reply Back to Top |

| 7th round at best but probably not drafted. What has he done at all to warrant getting drafted? Reply Back to Top |

| A 70 yard TD run against Auburn. That's about it. I hope he has a breakout year because he has been a team player since he signed. Reply Back to Top |

quote: What are you trying to insinuate? Its clear Shep has what teh NFL wants. He was all set to go to the draft but decided last minute to come back to finish his degree. The man has leadership qualities. Reply Back to Top |

quote: you serious? shep got pissed he didn't get any touches in the NC game and about made a terrible, rash decision. Shep is a poor route runner, has bad hands, and still hasn't grasped the WR position in 2+ years. The only thing he does well is run fast and is good in the open field. No one is gonna draft him because he'd be good sometimes running WR sweep plays. This post was edited on 4/26 at 2:54 pm Reply Back to Top |
