Man LSU Public Relations really blew it...1977 you're seeing Led Zeppelin and in 2010 you are seeing Akon. Think about that for a sec. THANK YOU STUDENT GOVERNMENT! Reply Back to Top

I was at the Feb. 75' show. Man I saw some badass concerts at the Assembly Center. We all took it for granted. Reply Back to Top
That's awesome! On the official Led Zeppelin web site, you can buy the t-shirt commemorating the '77 tour. On the back of the "Los Angeles" version of the shirt are the tour cities, including Baton Rouge Zeppelin 1977 Tour Shirt Reply Back to Top
I was one year old. Hmm. Well, at least I got to see ZOSO at the varsity. Almost as good. This post was edited on 4/26 at 8:07 am Reply Back to Top
They used to have some pretty awesome shows in the PMAC back in the day. My dad still has ear damage from an Emerson, Lake and Palmer show This post was edited on 4/26 at 8:22 am Reply Back to Top
Found this in the Baton Rouge Digital Archives--I have some bootlegs from this concert I found in an LSU archive some years ago...couldn't find it in a quick search but I'm sure it's out there somewhere. Zep for $7.50...amazing! Reply Back to Top
cool pics on this site linked at the video- Anytime they were anywhere in the South they would often fly into nawlins just for fun. They hung out at the Old Absinthe House. Might have been the era when Bryan Lee was the house guitarist. while in the way back machine, I bought this replica poster... BR was the first city on a 1968 tour ![]() Reply Back to Top |
