Zimmerman has "black roots." His great grandfather was black (Afro-Peruvian, whatever that is).

Jesus Christ. Let this go. The people who were arguing for Zimmerman to be tried got what they wanted. They are now content to let the process play out, myself being one of them. If he is innocent by means of self-defense, so be it. Let him prove it in court. I don't care if he gets off by that claim, just that he was charged.

It seems the only people who want to keep this case in the news are the ones who bitch the most about the media making a big case of it. Yet you can't let it die without at least three threads a day.

Let it go. Let it play out in court and shut up already.

Dude, it's a message board. The story is being carried by Reuter's. If you're not interested in the story, why the frick did you click on the link? Is someone there with you in your mother's basement forcing you to click on links to stories that hold no interst for you?

Not to mention how this guys life will never again be the same after the media crucified him for ratings. They ran with the story 24/7 when they could make him out to be a murderer, and now that the evidence has come out that he's got a solid case for self defense there's nothing to be said.

He doesn't have to prove a damn thing. The prosecutor has to prove that it WASN'T self defense.

Magilda is one of the worst posters on this entire site.

He was all up in arms over the Trayon story until more of the facts surfaced. Now he wants the story to die down even though a man is being tried over charges for a murder he did not commit due to the immorality of the media.

No. The prosecution has to prove he killed someone. He has to prove he did it in self-defense.

That is his defense against a 2nd-degree murder charge.

Either way, he was charged. I am happy. If he is found not guilty, so be it.

Yeah...I'm still not convinced this thing even makes it to trial. The judge could still throw the case out on the basis of the Stand Your Ground Law. And so far the prosecution has offered no further evidence then what we already know and that doesn't bode well for a continuation of the case.
