When I was looking for a house to rent in San Antonio, I called a realtor. They do it for free for you because they get paid a finder's fee by the owner. Of course, it has to be MLS listed for the realtor to even know about it. Reply Back to Top
Shreveport. I meet my women on Craigslist, everything else seems shady Reply Back to Top

Ahh nevermind, that's where you found yours. I got confused. Maybe I should read the first post more often Reply Back to Top
Craigslist is the first place to look. You can weed out the scams easily. Next try the local newspaper. Driving around and looking for signs can work too, but most of those are listed on ads already. Reply Back to Top

try padmapper.com. they pull from craigslist and other apartment sites and map them by listed locations, plus you can filter by price, bedrooms, etc. I just discovered it today and it's pretty nice. Reply Back to Top
How much do you want to spend. A guy I work with has one available in S'port. Reply Back to Top
PADMAPPER This website works really well. searches all internet listings including craigslist. Reply Back to Top
The best rental properties don't have to be advertised. They are usually filled by word of mouth or by putting a sign in the yard. Drive around the neighborhoods you are interested in living or talk to any friends you have in the area to see if they know of anyone renting a place. Reply Back to Top

Too many spammers on CL for me. I ended up driving around in areas I liked and looked for "for rent" signs. Worked out alright for me. Reply Back to Top Refresh
