re: Basketball recruiting 2013: Jarell Martin commits All of the main ones have their pros and cons. CBSsports is free, but just does national coverage. Rivals has the best searchable database and the LSU coverage is improving. Scout has the best LSU coverage. ESPN has good national coverage, but not a great database. Their local coverage is improving. I've never tried out 24/7. Rivals is the only one I am a member of. Reply Back to Top

Johnny Jones was heavy on the scouting of Craig Victor (2014) over the weekend in Las Vegas, along with the Urban DFW AAU team, which is loaded with prospects. He was also jet-setting to Minneapolis for the Nike EYBL event, where he was recruiting Julius Randle, Damian Jones and others. Reply Back to Top
Don't remember the posters name but I wonder how this change will affect Victor. I'm still more concerned with next year's class with Martin and Bridgewater, possibly Damien Jones, and some other possibilities. Nice to see some better talent in the state right now. Reply Back to Top

something to read that i didn't catch after last weekend LINK / Jarrell Martin (New Orleans Elite; F, 2013) Martin currently holds offers from Louisville, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Alabama and LSU. Martin’s looking for a teams whose system fits his style of play, television exposure and the chance to enter a program and contribute immediately. Know he's not 2013 but from same article Craig Victor (New Orleans Elite; F, 2014) The New Orleans native currently holds offers from Georgetown, Tennessee, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Alabama and Kansas. North Carolina has shown some interest according to Victor but has yet to offer. He’s looking for a school that’s family-oriented with other good recruits coming in, as well as a competitive conference and a good education. Reply Back to Top
