re: Update: Shavon UpColeman has signed, per Scout, Rivals. No LSU release yet. Even if he doesn't, his size and potential to play a little bit at the 1 could cause fits for other teams. Reply Back to Top
I know, I was just joking about the growth spurt. Kind of. Reply Back to Top
sign 4 kids this period and save 2 slots for next year, so you will have a total of 3 at the bare min. Reply Back to Top
I'm surprised no one started a thread about Montrezl Harrell (PF committed to Va Tech), with Greenburg getting canned at Va Tech. Bubba use your bball connects to get Johnny on this fella. Reply Back to Top
I see no connection to LSU for Harrell. I'm sure he will wait to see who VT hires. Doubt LSU gets involved with him this late. He will likely either stay, or go with a school that was on him prior. Rarely does a completely new school come into play this late. Reply Back to Top
Pretty much what I figured but I wanted to be a ranted for a minute. Reply Back to Top
there's 2 top 150 pf's in Baton Rouge next year. Martin and Bridgewater, Jones has to get both imo. Martin Bridgewater This post was edited on 4/23 at 5:44 pm Reply Back to Top
With them both playing the same position, it may be hard to get both. I think Damian Jones of Scotlandville will end up a Rivals 150 player also. 2 of those 3, plus David Taylor would be a solid year. Depending on what else is signed for this year, and amount of scholarships available. Reply Back to Top
Maybe we could pull Bridge for football and basketball and he wouldn't use up a bball scholly. It may also not deter other guys since he wouldn't be on the court until after football season ended, giving other guys opportunities at minutes. Pie in the sky, I know. But I'm excited right now. quote: So do we have any number on his "length", all I have seen is number on his height? What is his length? Inquiring minds want to know. This post was edited on 4/23 at 7:02 pm Reply Back to Top
I don't see Bridgewater playing PF in college. Reply Back to Top
He better develop some skills then. Reply Back to Top
I agree with that. I may be in the minority, but he's too short to play PF at a big time college. He's also needs to develop a better perimeter game to play the 3. He has more upside in football IMO. Reply Back to Top
quote: This info is coming from watching the basketball games. Turner does not jump well and is not very fast. He has a TON of trouble with taller guards, because he cant shoot or pass over him... Oh, and his left hand is so weak I cant believe he practices basketball everyday That being said, he is an excellent spot up shooter, and will drill 3's all day if he has room to get it off... Problem is they know they cant let him get open anymore and they didnt last year.. Did you watch the games???? Reply Back to Top |
Sugar is going to be a solid SEC swingman. I'd expect similar numbers that you saw his last season at Howard for this coming season in the SEC. Got a hell of a player, an extremely hard worker, and most of all a true Tiger at heart. Reply Back to Top
Is there any film on Coleman from this past season? Only can find high school stuff Reply Back to Top
LINK Not college film but this video shows why people keep talking about how long he is... He's younger in this video but some of his dunks in the middle he just looks pretty athletic... he's gotta be 6'6 with a 6'9/6'10 wingspan arms are loonnnnggg Reply Back to Top

quote: I made that video after his senior year. Those are highlights strictly from district. #1 in the video with the gold mo-hawk is Trovon Reed who believe or not could have been equally if not better than Coleman if he solely focused on basketball. Both are special athletes. Reply Back to Top |
Good video bro, glad LSU got Coleman, and that video shows why, has a smooth 3 pointer too, we will play this kid a lot next year, looks like he can run too... Thanks for the contribution easily the best video available on the guy how old is coleman in this video? This post was edited on 4/23 at 10:36 pm Reply Back to Top Refresh
