quote: The sitting down has been done to me in restaurants before and can be done in a reasonable way. Plopping down and bitching about your job at my table is not the reasonable way Like I said, I'm sure the reason she did this is because we're young and fairly easygoing so she thought she could relax a little. But it was annoying .. mainly because she sucked so bad at the rest of her job. Reply Back to Top |

| I think everybody tends to over think this place. Hell, if I got halfway decent service regularly I'd be inclined to go more often. Nice bar with comfortable chairs to watch a game. Food is all made in-house. The fact that 20 year olds from Denham walk around in next to nothing is okay by me, and sure doesn't bother me. It's not the strip club, and it doesn't have strip club prices. It's no culinary superstar, but with decent service(just like any place), it would be a good spot to have a beer on the patio and watch a game with your buddies, and grab an app or two. | Damn. People are really getting upset because some broad sat down at their table with them at Twin Peaks? Reply Back to Top |

| I get that the only reason they actually sit there and sweet talk the customers is to try and get a bigger tip and make them think they like them. Same concept as a strip club. But it really doesn't bother me at all. It's much easier to get past it, knowing that they are just doing it to seem friendly. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Yeah, I have no problem with that either. Her bitching about her life while doing so is not cool though. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Yeah. I usually get really in to the game if they start talking too much. Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Rohan2Reed on 4/23 at 5:01 pm to LSUAfro Prepared in house? Sure why not. I have no doubts that they cook the burger then put it in between bread. But to suggest their food is all made in-house (i.e. - meet is grinded there, cheese is made there, ice cream, etc.) is absurd. I promise you there's a Sysco truck parked out back a few times a week. Oh, and their little write-up on their web site is fricking hysterical. quote: YOU'RE THE MAN!!! Well they sure know who their customers are. Reply Back to Top |
| Yeah. That's dumb, but I dont care what their website says. It provides a good location to watch a game. And no, they aren't grinding their own meat, but neither is masons. "best burger in br". But yes, a sysco rep probably is servicing their restaurant needs. I didn't say they were practicing "farm to table", but not many are. But, they do prepare their own dishes and that is a plus in my book compared to most chains. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
