| Sam Adams Noble Pils Posted by BMoney Forget who was looking for this in BR, but I saw a few 6-packs of it at The Beverage Store on Florida Blvd today. It was marked as best before June 2012, so I have to assume it's not old beer.Reply Back to Top |
quote: That was me. Thanks. It's a damn good beer, pick yourself up one and let me know what you think. If you don't like it then I'll buy the rest off of you. Reply Back to Top |
| It really is a good beer. And I dont often admit that about a Sam Adams product. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I considered picking some up, but thought I'd leave it for the people who were REALLY looking for some. I've got more beer than I know what to do with at the house already, with more on the way. And I picked up one of these: Piraat Gulden Draak Bruegel Bornem Dubbel Bornem Tripel Augustijn Reply Back to Top |
| I hope that Piraat is good, I picked it up just because I've seen you brag on it of course, you dumped an Endeavor, so I might not have thought this through Reply Back to Top |
quote: It should be year round from now on so no big deal. It blows away their other seasonal offerings like the new Alpine Spring and their Summer Ale, but that's not saying much. Reply Back to Top |
| I really enjoy their Noble Pils. One of the few beers done recently by Sam Adams without any overpowering lemon or other fruit zest. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I drank the other one though. The first one was atrocious and undrinkable. It had to be a bad bottle. The second one was much better. Still didn't have the malt balance I prefer in DIPA's, but it wasn't a drain pour like that first bottle. Reply Back to Top |
| Hopefully I can find this stuff in New Orleans. Haven't seen it at my local Rouse's. One of my favorites. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
