| Hornets talk will shut down TD for a day like when LSU lost to Ole Miss at the end Reply Back to Top |

quote: Doubtful. The anti-tankers don't exactly seem like the fighting type. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Am I the only one who thinks AD will get punked next year due to his size? I know he was awesome in college, but this is a whole new level. It's not like Kevin Durant at the 3 where thickness doesn't really matter.... This post was edited on 4/23 at 12:23 pm Reply Back to Top |
| He's 19. He grew like 8 inches 2 years ago. He's still getting used to his frame. He will be fine. Reply Back to Top |
quote: His arm length is ridiculous and the kid is still 18 he can only get better. Agree to disagree. He can dribble the basketball because he was a point guard in high school. He shot up like 8 inches in 2 years. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Yes and no. I think he'll get backed down in the post worse than vintage 2011 Jason Smith. But his length should make him very useful in help defense situations. So as long as we aren't facing Twin Towers like in LA, you can put Okafor on the better post player and have AD focus on help defense. Reply Back to Top |
| That's the reason why I want to see T Rob more than Davis next year. Davis has much more potential but I think Robinson will be better next year. I hate thinking about how we have pretty much no shot at getting both because we can't tell which one will be a stud. Reply Back to Top |
quote: so you would rather come out 9th in western conference and get jack shite. Good point Reply Back to Top |
quote: I think he'll have a solid year, but I don't expect him to turn the Hornets into an instant championship contender. The more I see, the less I think the Hornets are a good fit for Davis to fully blossom. For his sake, he needs to go to a team where he can be THE guy and play through growing pains. We'll be battling for the playoffs next year and forcing minutes to a rookie could hurt those chances. That said, if we get the first pick, he's the obvious choice. Reply Back to Top |
quote: No, I'd rather not hope for losses for an opportunity to draft Len Bias' overdose or Greg Oden's knees. This post was edited on 4/23 at 12:29 pm Reply Back to Top |
