re: Artest is a Jackass...elbows Harden in the head...quote: Exactly. That's what Jermaine O'Neal ultimately got for clocking the fan during the Malice in the Palace and people seriously think Artest is going to get that for throwing an elbow? Reply Back to Top |

| Just when it looks like the Lakers can't get any trashier....They completely redeem themselves!!!!! Reply Back to Top |
| Damn, he might get 25 games like that NHL guy. That was vicious. Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Escobar600 on 4/22 at 5:36 pm to saintsfan22 looked like he put every bit of force he had into that elbow.Reply Back to Top |
| Personally I think this is worse than what Pete Rose did in baseball. He should be banned from the game forever. That includes Europe too. Heck, maybe even try him for attempted murder in a court of law. Anything less than 5-10 is a travesty. Justice for James Harden. /sarcasm Reply Back to Top |

| They should put this guy in a rocket ship and shoot him into the sun. JMHO FWIW thug point of sale. Reply Back to Top |
| Given his history and repeat offender status.. wouldn't that push his suspension longer than an average guy? Although, I can't imagine throwing a blind elbow at a guy's ear can't be brushed off as just a major flagrant... I'm thinking 5 games, at least.. Reply Back to Top |

| Yes, Artest has one despicable things in the past. However, that was EIGHT years ago in the Palace. Since then he has won a Citizenship award. This was stupid, but he deserves no more than 5-7 games. Reply Back to Top |
| Yes, because that is the only other example in his past. Reply Back to Top |
| I don't think holding him out of the first round is excessive for that elbow. Reply Back to Top |
quote: personally I think it should be at least 20 he has a history (maybe the worst history in the NBA) and he blindside KO'ed a guy with his elbow. if it was an accident he would have reacted with shock or dismay when he hit him... he didn't... he followed through and kept celebrating it was intentional and nasty - 20 games is getting off easy Reply Back to Top |
| i hate handing out fines and suspending guys just to do it and most of the punishments lately are ridiculous, but i think he needs 8-10 games minimum for this garbage. Its not like this was an elbow while battling for a rebound or making space while he had the ball. this was an unprovoked cheap shot elbow to the side of the head. an elbow like that is far more dangerous than a punch, especially the way these nba guys usually punch. Posted by Backinthe615 on 4/22 at 6:30 pm to thewarmth If this was NFL or NHL with commisioners facing a flood of lawsuits he'd be gone for the year. As it is I would guess 5 games.Low rent move but I wouldn't expect any less from him. Reason #503 why I barely watch the NBA anymore. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
