| No. I think the whole things was "Oh, Peggy is a little racist. Look at how bad racism was yell." Reply Back to Top |
| I about shat myself with Don murdering that skank. I guess it was the theme of the episode, with the nurse murders. Reply Back to Top |
| This episode was uneven and a bit surreal. Roger is forced to throw 3 grand at one of his employees to cover a frickup. Joan and Greg separate just like that and that dream sequence. meh Reply Back to Top |

quote: I really don't think that was the point at all. It's just showing some of the ackwardness and unease that came with the adjustment to integration. Obviously Peggy went out of her way to invite her into her home and tried to relate to her. But subtle prejudices remained. This was almost 50 years ago, after all. Reply Back to Top |

quote: See my post above. It's a realistic depiction of a forward thinking person encountering her own prejudice. I don't think that really qualifies her as a bigot--at least not the same way that Roger or some of the other characters are. Reply Back to Top |
| I don't care who it is, if I'm letting someone I don't really know that well stay in my house, I'm going to be a little nervous. Plus Peggy knows she's down on her luck so to speak. That's a huge temptation in front of her, especially when you told her earlier that you have a lot of cash. Reply Back to Top |
