re: College Baseball Cheap Shotquote: Wow, that brings back memories. I was playing 3B in college. Two outs. Pitcher tried a pick off of the runner at second. He got caught in a rundown. I tagged him out, not really hard but he was changing directions into me so my two handed tag to the chest knocked him down. I tossed the ball to the ump at 3B as I jogged to the 3B dugout. All of a sudden there was a fight. I turned around in a WTF moment but then the fight was over. As we entered the dugout I asked my teammates what happened. "When he got up he tried to karate kick your head but missed and fell down again". The umps didn't kick him out. He played 1B and I led off the next inning with a single. He walked over to the bag and said "Hey, I really want to apologize for what I did." Me: "Accepted." How could I not? I never saw any of it. Reply • Back to Top |

| He should hope he gets banned because he will catch one in the earhole the next time he goes to the plate. I know if I pitched on another team in their conference I would knock his arse down first pitch if I faced him after this. Such a piece of a shite.
