| Went to Toledo the Last Few days(Pics Included) Got to our camp at about 3:00 Wednesday evening. The picture I have is the keepers I caught from then until 11:00 Friday morning. Mostly caught twitching a centipede or finesse worm in floating grass at daylight and with a spinnerbait in 4-6 foot water during the day. Oh and good news, caught 5 this morning on a Ribbit!! Also found the tiniest white perch I've ever seen floating on top of the water dead. Reply Back to Top |

| Nice ..we caught 101 last week ..most at 1215. But my buddy went to 1215 today and didn't get a bite. WHAT COLOR RIBBET??? Reply Back to Top |
| I was throwing a watermelon red one with the pearl white belly and chartreuse feet. We just got a camp near San Miguel so thats where I've been doing all my fishing. Just thought about it, 1215 is the highway that runs to San Miguel, or am I wrong? This post was edited on 4/7 at 11:23 pm Reply Back to Top |
quote: Toledo and Millwood in Arkansas used to be incredibly hot bass lakes. Took a dip for a while,, but that was a nice bunch of fish in the OP Reply Back to Top |
| Yeh you're right. I was up there last week with family. My grandpa meets his cousin at San Miguel every year so I go with him. I caught one keeper, my grandpas cousin caught 14 keepers by hisself. So frustrating Went yesterday and kept 7 tho on the South end. It's an early morning late evening bite now. We caught a bunch of long skinny ones. Reply Back to Top |
quote:1215 is north of San Miguel in the main boat run to the right. My buddy fishes San Miguel all the time and catches 8+ bass there. Also have a lady I work for who's dad owns one of the big camps there..has a big red and green light on the wharf. Reply Back to Top |
