I have a Bear Carnage. I'm sure Mathews is great, but I can't drop that kind of $$$ on a bow. I got a great deal on the Carnage and I love it! Reply Back to Top

How much do you wanna spend? The thing with bows is, people who shoot mathews will tell you to get a mathews. People who shoot diamond will tell you to get a diamond. People who shoot bear will tell you to get a bear. There aren't any bad bows on the market. Go to any archery shop and shoot every one that's in your price range and buy the one that feels the best to you. Get ready to be hooked for life. Bow hunting is some fun shite. Welcome to the club ETA: And remember there are more things that go into starting than just the bow. You have to buy arrows, practice tips, a target, a release, and if you don't get a package set-up you'll need some hardware for your bow. I recommend getting a package. The bow will come rigged out and ready to shoot. Don't forget to factor all that into your budget. This post was edited on 4/5 at 4:13 pm Reply Back to Top

Some certainly feel better than others to me, but it's all in the shooter. A bear truth 2 feels better than a mathews switchback to me. I guess it has to do with how you're built and how you shoot. When my old man was selling bows it was pretty weird how different people's opinions were on what felt good to them. Reply Back to Top
The only bow Ive shot regularly has been my mathews. I show a bunch of different ones when I was shopping and that just fit me best and felt the smoothest. Reply Back to Top
Mathews was just the smoothest to me, a lot of the other brands felt jerky Reply Back to Top
thats how I felt. also quieter. Reply Back to Top
quote: That's usually what sells mathews to people who aren't just buying the brand, which a TON of people do. I don't think too many people can debate that as a whole they make the best product. Deciding if it's worth the extra coin is why I don't have one. :insertlolyoupoorjoke: This post was edited on 4/5 at 4:26 pm Reply Back to Top |
