| Jordan Allen- I have strong doubts he ever contributes. Should've been put at DT or OL the moment he touched campus. Hawkins is an OT Next year at DE Allen Rasco Hunter Maclin Patterson Other recruits Tim Williams-he'll be a Tiger Kendall Beckwith-I think he'll be a Tiger but not sure Torrodney Prevot-I think we may just get him Doubt we'd turn any of those 3 down DT Johnson Ferguson Logan-if he's back Thomas Johnson Lawson Other recruits Justin Manning-we've got a shot Greg Gilmore-I'm beginning to think we land him but will be skeptical until he signs Lacouture-ours Ben Hughes-good player that's all LSU if we offer I think we'll take 2 of those kids and possibly 3 if the right guy wants in and there's room Reply • Back to Top |

| I think we take about 6 d-linemen in this class. We need to reload. At DE, we lose Edwards and Aghayere (though I know he's moved inside for 2012), likely Sonic Sam and possibly Mingo. At DT, we lost Brockers but didn't sign any in 2012, and we will lose Downs and possibly Logan. I'd say grab 6, either 4 DE and 2 DT or 3 DE and 3 DT. Probably out of this group: DE - Patterson (commit), Williams, Prevot, Walker, Herron, Jones (some see him as an LB). DT - Lawson (commit), Manning, Crayton, Gilmore, Taylor Reply • Back to Top |

| I think we take 8 and I think we end up with: DE Patterson Prevot Williams Beckwith DT Lawson Manning Gilmore LaCouture Last years class really hurt us in the long run and I think this year we can afford to take 8 of them. We don't need a linebacker and Beckwith could end up there anyways. QB -2 RB -1 WR - 3 OL - 4 TE - 2 DE -4 DT -4 DB -4 Gives us room for another position as well. | The funny thing is that I actually think it's possible we could land all 8 of those. I doubt we do bu I could easily envision it happening. Imo the only dicey ones are Prevot, Beckwith, Gilmore and Manning and I think we'll land at least 2 and likely 3 of those. Great, great group if all falls in line. Reply • Back to Top |
| With Mingo and Logan both strong possibilities of leaving early, I can see 3 DT and 3 DE, easily. If they don't leave early, then Redshirt 2 of the 6. Reply • Back to Top |

| Forget Golden I saw a interview with him saying the team he wanted to beat the most was LSU because of the fan's in East Texas. Kid isn't that great he played in Elyisan Fields and just moved to Carthage to try to step up in competition. Reply • Back to Top |

| Just haven't seen any of that honestly. Where is something I can read with quotes from Montgomery about Allen? He'll have 2 years to prove it. I wish the best from him but I'll stand by my opinion he isn't going to contribute much until I see him on the field. He got passed by Rasco, still has Edwards, Mingo and Montgomery ahead of him and possibly Maclin and even Hunter. Maybe we'll see him in goalline sets. Reply • Back to Top |
