re: Kentucky vs. Charlotte Bobcatsquote: They suck in the NBA for sure. But they've still beat (5?) NBA teams this year. Kentucky has lost to two college teams. Reply Back to Top |

| Well yeah, Charlotte is an awful NBA team. You also have to factor in the fact that Charlotte would probably play balls to the wall against a college team. The Bobcats may suck, but they still have pride. Reply Back to Top |
| But if the game stays close, the pressure is also all on them. Reply Back to Top |

| It is kind of amazing that DeSagana Diop has managed a 12-year NBA career averaging 2.1 pts and 3.8 rebounds per game. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Yeah, I don't think it's in the realm of say, baseball, where you've had college teams go toe-to-toe with minor league teams in exhibitions. Cause all you need then is a really good outing from one star pitcher to make it a game. In contact sports like basketball and football in which top-to-bottom roster depth and physicality are a huge factor, college teams simply can't compete with a pro team. quote: Yeah, but they aren't winless. They've still knocked off 7 NBA teams. They'd have to be winless, with the prospect that just about their entire roster would be cut from the league next year before we could even have this discussion. Reply Back to Top |

| Look at how shitty this roster is. Obviously, if the Bobcats play okay and Kentucky plays poorly, Charlotte wins by 40+. However, if Kentucky plays really well and gets some momentum going in front of 30,000 of their own fans, they could definitely keep this game close for a while and probably end up losing by 20. quote: I've already pointed out that a bunch of these players were as good, if not better, in college than anyone on Kentucky not named Anthony Davis and maybe MKG. This post was edited on 3/25 at 3:36 pm Reply Back to Top |
| If any of these Kentucky players played on another team without 5 other future NBA players, they'd average 20+ points and be considered for All-American honors. You have to take that into consideration. These guys can't reach their maximum statistical potential playing with each other. This post was edited on 3/25 at 3:39 pm Reply Back to Top |
quote: jones > dj white, bro davis would be the best player on the court lamb and walker would be interesting. MKG and henderson is interesting where chartlotte would win is with their bench Reply Back to Top |
