| Where is everyone going on Yoenis Cespedes? Posted by OBUDan Seen a few clips of his ABs, and although he's yet to be officially named the starting CF, it's next to impossible to not play him at this point. He's crushing the ball. Bob Melvin said they wanted to bring him along slowly, but it was virtually impossible because he was smashing the ball. Dan Plesac compared him to Bo Jackson (I'm guessing moreso because he looks like a Linebacker and can mash). In short, I'm pretty keen on his ability. Where would you go for him in the draft? How early is too early? Where's a good spot to "reach" on him? Reply Back to Top |

| I believe Melvin came out yesterday saying that he is going to start from day 1. As for the draft, I have no fricking clue what to make of him or where I would feel comfortable taking him right now. Reply Back to Top |
| He went 164th in DAT Reply Back to Top |

| 96 players kept Reply Back to Top |
quote: He's unproven against any sort of real competition at the deepest position in fantasy baseball that is even deeper than usual this year. Tons of other guys id rather pick before Yoenis. Reply Back to Top |
quote: This has something to do with it but its not like he went in the first round of the draft, he went 6th so i doubt anyone would have kept him. Oh yea and its a 12 person league Reply Back to Top |
| It helps make sense why he went 164 Reply Back to Top |
quote: Do you think there is much of a difference than if we didn't have keepers? Everyone in the league passed him up 5 times. I doubt if we did a redraft it would be much different. Maybe im missing something. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Think somewhere from 160-180 for a keeper league & 200+ for a redraft. I'm expecting 15-20 HR & around 10SB this year. It'll take him a year+ to adjust. This post was edited on 3/20 at 2:34 pm Reply Back to Top |

| Just did and I like it. Way more balanced Reply Back to Top |
| you're welcome Reply Back to Top |
| Too risky for my liking... especially playing in Oakland. I don't think the reward is high enough for me to take him anywhere before the 8th round. Reply Back to Top |
| I like his speed and power potential Reply Back to Top |
| He's going at 194 in TDBL, but I suspect that he would have been kept by someone if he was on a roster already. Reply Back to Top |
