| stupid people watching TV (mostly women with no lives) make these stupid people famous for NOTHING!! Reply Back to Top |
quote: This, absolutely. I had no idea who Jon Hamm was until like a week or two ago...I saw his name on TV (maybe a commercial for Conan??) and was like who the frick is that, and looked him up. I've never seen Mad Men or heard his name before that day. But obviously I've heard of KK because she is mentioned on just about every channel I see, watch, flip through, etc. She's a far "bigger celebrity" than Hamm, even though nobody I know gives a flying shite about her or what she does. Someone knowing about KK over someone like Jon Hamm doesn't make them a loser or anything of the sort, because the media is clearly biased in who they celebritize. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I'm sure it helps that KK has an arse the size of Texas and tits the size of the Grand Canyon. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Nah, cuz there are plenty of chicks out there with huge tits and arse who aren't famous (or as famous). Her sex tape, famous boyfriends, and E! have all made her career what it is. Oh, and the stupidity of the American public for giving a frick about things she says and does. Reply Back to Top |
quote: and her mom. i was curious where Bruce Jenner got all of his money, so I did a quick search. Turns out that Kris Kardashian is a money-making machine and she is willing to pimp out her entire family to do it and they are happy to be pimped out. Reply Back to Top |

quote: True, forgot she had famous/rich parents (or step parents or whatever). If something like MTV can make millionaire(ish) celebrities out of 16 year old whores, then of course KK can be rich off her arse and more famous than most hard working actors/athletes/etc. Reply Back to Top |
| It really makes no difference to me why someone is famous as no movie star means anything to me. Does KK deserve to be on television less than Brad Pitt? None of them are curing cancer they are all there to entertain. A monkey juggling bannanas and being chased by dogs may be entertaining and if it gets ratings it should be on TV as well. What is a mystery to me is why people idolize athletes and movie stars. I have no more desire to have George Clooney's autograph than the autograph of a co-worker. Reply Back to Top |
quote: It will only end when people stop celebrating them. I don't blame the like of Kardashian, Hilton, Jersey Shores, etc. I blame the audience/American society that makes them rich and relevant. Unfortunately I don't think evolution is going in the right direction here. Reply Back to Top |

quote: People celebrate them because they are entertained by them. I cannot stand romantic movies but my wife loves them. Does this mean that my wife is an idiot for watching Reese Witherspoon? I despise reality television but many consumers obviously disagree with me. Reply Back to Top |
| Poor kardashian girl is so lost. She thinks she "works hard". Reply Back to Top |
quote: Well, obviously people find these folks and their "reality" product entertaining. The point is that the entertainment bar keeps going lower and lower, like a limbo stick. Perhaps this is just a matter of taste, perhaps it is idiocy; I don't really know. What I do know is that it is idiotic to blame the players who are simply taking advantage of a very lucrative game. These players aren't going anywhere. They are simply going to multiply like rabbits as long as our society continues to embrace them. A fairly depressing thought in my book. Reply Back to Top |

quote: anyone can start a business with daddy's money. It probably wouldn't have made it if the sex tape wouldn't have came out. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I was going to chime in with this, but you beat me to it. If I had millions of dollars to start my own business, I'd do so too. And we all know her mom is the driving force behind all of that. Her idea of "work" is getting paid to sit in some club's VIP section, have some drinks on camera, saying something on the mic for 5 seconds, and going back to partying in the VIP. Tough life. Although I'm not a fan of Mad Men, I like Jon Hamm as an actor. He's clearly next in line to take Alec Baldwin's spot as a perennial SNL host. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Don't feel bad cough. The only way I know his name is because an Arkansas poster uses as his Tigerdroppings screen name. He used to have Don Draper's picture as his avatar pic. I was curious and looked it up on IMDb. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
