re: News Flash: Obama asked about Limbaugh's comment at presser...quote: quote: I believe he was asking a republican to answer, not me. But I'll play. Doesn't go far enough. I want a public option. I'd rather kill the evil-doers with jets and drones that ten year occupations. Damn straight, hell of a job Mr President. Raise taxes on the wealthy. Too easy. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I told you. within 10% ratings and advertisements.you dont get the humor? We have a lot of hot air about Rush getting bitchslapped, but when given the chance to raise money for charity, they shut the hell up. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Maybe you didn't understand. I believe Obama will win. I have no opinion on Rush's numbers. But he did the damage to every other R, no doubt about it. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Figures you would hide from a bet. But to let you off the hook for being such a pussy. I'll address your new argument...since you now concede Rush hasnt hurt himself, but now you claim he had hurt the republicans... This post was edited on 3/6 at 2:11 pm Reply Back to Top |
quote: So you are ok if they kill innocent women and children? You know, how they describe everything that is done with those from the left! quote: You want crappy healthcare...schocker... I will save you your reply. "I want great healthcare with the public option" (Doesn't realize you can't have it both ways) quote: Define wealthy? Income? Investments? How much would you raise taxes? Funny I thought you would rather people have jobs then to just raise taxes on the rich. Not surprised, you would rather take from the "wealthy" then to allow others to work and get wealthy. But who are we kidding you are loaded...you got a grand to throw around!!1 Reply Back to Top |
| You're confused. I'll put a grand on Obama, and you can have the rest of the field. OK? Reply Back to Top |

quote: Disagree as a matter of policy and doctrine. If the supreme court declares the mandate unconstitutional, it'll become illegal. Until then, it's a bad law passed by the congress and signed by the president. quote: My feelings on this are well documented. The president didn't start a war. He initiated a limited military action that fall within his purview as CinC. If you want to be strictly constitutional, our entire standing defense establishment (minus the Navy (go Navy!)) is unconstitutional. As long as the US Armed forces are standing and funded by the congress, the president commands them. quote: Depends upon the circumstances. The idea that "Republicans would never raise taxes" is younger than I am. Get a clue. quote: Corporations should pay some taxes. Does that answer your question? quote: Have at. quote: Forgive the slight. It was prejudiced. quote: Any talk of tax increases is un-American and will destroy the country, to start. Let's throw in a taste of birtherism to boot. This post was edited on 3/6 at 2:17 pm Reply Back to Top |
| You guys are the ones running away. I made no comment about Rush's ratings. I do contend he stepped in it BIGTIME. He knows it. He been embarrassed over the world. So yes, he has been hurt from it. His own words and ideas, btw. Snookie get high ratings, too. But I wouldn't want her advice on politics. And Rush's poor apology proves he's not ready for prime time. Unless you consider Fox and the ditti head crowd as prime time. I don't. Man up. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Seems like you're the one turning down an easy two grand. Such a damaging incident couldn't do anything but negatively affect ad revenue. After all, it was extremely inappropriate, and any right minded listener or advertiser has to be thinking the same way you are right? Mainstream American thought and DA are practically one in the same...no doubt. C'mon DA. I'm dying to donate $2000 to the charity of your choice. It's a suckers bet. I'll take the Rep field, and Rush's ad revenue at or greater than 3/1/2012 in 30 days, 60 days, how ever many days you want. What's the worst that could happen? You ending up donating $2000 to the Susan G Komen foundation? Everybody wins. This post was edited on 3/6 at 2:32 pm Reply Back to Top |
quote: Read Bas v. Tingy. its very old. and get back to me with what the Pres. needs for a limited military action. quote: Nobody ever said that. Are you currently in favor of raising ordinary income taxes, and if so, to which brackets do you feel raises are warranted, and why? quote: Well...ignorance is big in both parties...I guess you can qualify as republican with yours.... Reply Back to Top |
| I sure catch a lot of shite for being so stupid. That doesn't compute. Now, this collapse by the republican party has been baked into the cake since the last presidential election. The nomination of Obama freaked out the fringe and the response was some of the most radical, non-compromising, and frankly, low information string of candidates and rhetoric I've ever seen. When your movement gets hijacked by the likes of tea party loons and fringe anti government radicals, religious radicals, along with three radio shock jocks, it should raise red flags. It's doomed to fail. Now it's just a matter of seeing how it plays out. But it will happen. Reply Back to Top |
