I don't about the rest of you, if I knew I had several gauranteed millions coming to me by a such and such date I would be jumping for joy like I won the powerball. The only anxiety I think I would have not knowing where I would be living and playing.

I understand wanting the security of the long term contract, but either way he gonna get millions. If he gets franchised what is that about 8 or 9 million? Not to shabby for one years worth of work.

If he has a major injury this year he'll lose millions. He'll lose money anyway if he's tag because his value will be slightly decrease at the end of the year due to him being a year older.

It's better for the team, but I understand why he doesn't want the tag.

What the hell is taking so long. Pay the man. Hand him a blank check. Rabble. Rabble.

Id love to sign him and Brees to new contracts for years and years but i dont think we have the money to do so. And giving either of them the Tag seems alomst like a slap in the face. I hope they both get paid, but if they dont and Nicks leaves I'll always thank the guy for his years here and cheer him on when we arent playing him.

if you were in his shoes you'd be saying the exact same thing. It could be the difference in tens of millions of dollars
