Pussies... Should have never involved Obamacare in it, but I have a feeling they would have caved no matter what.

And they agreed to another team of negotiators like the gang of 8 last time? How did that work out?

quote:

The deal would reopen the government with a stopgap spending bill running to Jan. 15, and would extend the government's borrowing authority through at least Feb. 7. It would also require both the House and Senate to name negotiators to try to reach a final deal on a 2014 budget, giving them a December deadline.

The only major concession Republicans won was to include strict income monitoring of those seeking taxpayer subsidies under Obamacare.

"you have to enforce the law you passed, guys, or no deal."

That's actually more than I thought they'd get and is very important. The Democrats were openly begging for huge amounts of fraud without it.

Its funny that they chose such an idiotic issue to tie to the CR/Debt and they cowardly bowed down. No fricking spines. I don't agree with what they stood for, but frick, grow a set of nuts.

Obama will NEVER negotiate with the current leadership for the R's because he knows all he has to do is fold his arms and wait for them to give in.

Good. They'll be able to squeeze more out of him in a couple of months if they shut up about Obamacare and focus on deficit reduction. Democrats hate sequester and will give in to get rid of it, if that's what republicans want.

I side with the left on some of those issues... Gay marriage, Legalization, and pro-choice within the first month or two.

f&%k it. I'm 22, but I would run as a 3rd party candidate in a heartbeat to campaign as a fiscal conservative, social moderate (basically, pro life, pro evolution, anti climate change, anti affirmative action, pro science, pro pot, pro guns, anti war on drugs, pro civil liberties, ect)

Although, minimum age to run for a seat in the LA legislature is just 18...

I would think this party would have the support of 70% plus of the country. It would just be a matter of not getting co-opted by wingnuts from either extreme.

In all honesty they knew they could not defund Obamacare , they did succeed in placing ALL the blama if ( when ) Obamacare fails on the democrats who refused to change the ACA in anyway.

Not a party, but Rand Paul is pretty close to this.

They didn't do shite to further that point.

Had they just let it be and not come across looking like bitches, it would have been more effective.

So they come across as byches but Obama who refuses to negotiate ( no budget in 5 years ) comes across as a great man ?

Govt monitoring programs never work, so they essentially got nothing.

this. Conservatives should be outraged and taking names. They should be preparing to primary every SOB who votes for this clear and blatant cop out betrayal. The American people are bloodless. They can't even feel all the knives that have been stuck in their backs over the years.
