So Jackson residents just vote for whatever black dude is on the ticket?

Pretty much. You should try being a white, out of state lawyer, representing an out of state corporation in front of some of the Hind's county judges.

But seriously, there is still a prevailing attitude of getting revenge for basically all of American history pre-Civil Rights movement. I'm not making that up. We did a lot of jury science on it.

Jonathon Lee was going to be the best democrat option, but once lumumba's people found out that the Fondren, Belhaven, NE Jackson voters were going to throw their votes behind Lee, a lot of his black supporters abandoned ship.

Also, if they don't like being American I'm sure living in Africa will be much better for them

Here is another good read on Lumumba Mash here. I feel really bad for the residents of jackson. Glad i moved out of that shithole last year....
quote:

Free the Land!” … is the battle cry of the New Afrikan Independence Movement (NAIM). The NAIM is part of the Black liberation Movement in North Amerikka that wants independent Black Nation on land in north amerikka. The land identified by the New Afrikan Independence Movement is primarily known as South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, as well as other areas of what is now called the Black-Belt South, where Afrikan people are in the majority or have a historical/economical/socio-cultural relationship to. When we say “Free the Land” this is the land we are talking about freeing. Malcolm X once stated:“Revolutions are fought to get control of land, to remove the absentee landlord, and gain control of the land and institutions that flow from the land. The Black [Nation] has been in a very low condition because [it] has no control whatsoever over the land.” He later stated:“A true Negro revolt might entail, for instance, fighting for separate Blacks states within this country…”

I just ask because that is basically where Shreveport is headed. I don't have a problem with Glover, but because of the demographics, I don't ever see a white guy winning for mayor in Shreveport as long as there is another candidate who is black.

If he isn't gone even sooner than that, Jackson is going to look like something out of Mad Max.

This guy is really stupid. Starting with Columbus, instead of renaming the city for someone who was not a slaveowner, is a total failure in prioritization.

He sets a damn high bar, but Lumumba seems much more ambitious for his vision of a more africanized world, to where I think he can do more damage.

Goodbye Jackson, Hello West Monrovia.

I've never understood the new afrika movement. If you want Africa, go to fricking Africa.

Most jackson residents are going to vote for him because he represented Tupac and because Rosa Parks once visited him.

Jackson has a hell of a lot more to worry about than Christopher Columbus. The place is a shithole. Focus on soap and water.

You realize he's already been elected right?

Well, technically he has not been elected yet. He won the democratic runoff, which is the de facto mayor's race in Jackson. There is no way he will lose the general election.

I'll take the "under" for a case of Colt 45 Malt Liquor.

Gotcha... I see. All of my friends were talking like it was completely in the books already. Which it might as well be from what you're saying.
