Yes, yes, but I think Soup had a much more profound emotional impact on me. I feel like I know where Shannon was coming from in every song on the album.

This is very true, I listen to the Soup album far more than their self title. Both are amazing albums with a variety of styles of music, especially on Soup. Though their self titled album was the one that changed the game for me, partly because it was the first thing I heard from them.

Clearly, a lot depends on your age and life situation when u hear an album. Anyway, hard to narrow it down but . . .

Rubber Soul
Are You Experienced
Exile on Main Street
Allman Bros Live at the Filmore
Who's Next
Blonde on Blonde
London Calling
Sweetheart of the Rodeo

Okay I'll stop

allman bros filmore changed my life too

saw allman bros in '96 in charleston when I was 8 years old for the first time. still can't believe my parents took me to that

it's actually really hard to narrow down a list under 40 or so albums that "changed my life." I go through periods where I will be obsessed with an album or artist and it always seems to coincide with different periods in my life, good or bad

My brother constantly played this album in the mid 70's and it sparked my love of rock and roll:

This was probably my first initiation into metal, which became my favorite genre of music:

Greatest metal album of all time, and led me to discover tons of other British metal bands of the 80's.

311 From Chaos was the first album that really changed my musical interests. There are others, but this one stands out.
