| You have to dip it in your coffee. Other than eating it like that, it sucks Reply Back to Top |

quote: This, they're good in milk too. They're too hard to eat by themselves, but they suck up liquid like sponges and don't break off when wet like normal cookies. I think that's why they're long and narrow, to make it easier to dip. Reply Back to Top |
quote: And frick up my coffee? Absolutely nothing should go in coffee or espresso, sure as frick not a cookie. The almond flavor in biscotti is nice. Reply Back to Top |
| That's exactly why and why they are hard. They are baked twice to dry them out so they store well and last a long time. They were used by soldiers for travel for centuries. The hardness was for durability as well. Reply Back to Top |
| Yeah, I love biscotti. Reply Back to Top |
| Love, I make a few batches every year for Christmas parties. They never last very long. I do like to dip it is a dessert coffee. Reply Back to Top |
| I like them too---but not the terrible, commercial brick-hard ones nor the too-soft, too-sweet coffeehouse version. From scratch, with plenty of almonds, or the "cantuccia di prado" version with a little cornmeal and rosemary. Reply Back to Top |
| Anise flavored biscotti are damned tasty biscuits for sure. Reply Back to Top |

| If we're talking about the same thing as the biscoff cookies Delta airlines peddles than you can throw me on the hate train. More times than not the late flight from Atl to Monroe is either out of peanuts or you get homosexual male flight attendant who has stock in Biscoff Inc. It's all he'll offer. The other night "he" handed me my Woodford with two packs of Biscoffs. I politly said "sir can I have some peanuts please?. His answer "sir we have Biscoff cookies". I say "so you don't have any peanuts?". "Sir, we have Biscoff cookies". "No thanks, I'll just have another Woodford". Reply Back to Top Refresh |
