quote:

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker John Boehner says he "absolutely" trusts President Barack Obama — not that they don't have their differences.

Boehner tells ABC's "This Week" that the two have a good relationship and that they're "open with each other ... honest with each other." But the Ohio lawmaker says they're trying to bridge some big differences. One issue they agree on: The U.S. doesn't have an immediate crisis in terms of debt.

And this is why the Repubes - and the nation - are screwed. Trusting a pathological liar...nice.

Boehner,McCain,Graham all POS.

I think MCCain and Graham saw how they were being left behind. Because Graham was on TV trying to walk back his Obama pecker suck-off and McCain said he was sowwy for the crazy bird or whatever comment.

Just because he says that doesn't make it true.

Not defending the Tan Man but maybe he was just saying what the media wants to hear. As long as he carries a knife into those closed door sessions to stab away at the bs being presented by the opposition, then I'd say the Speaker is just reciting political rhetoric, as usual.

That's my hope anyway.

Boehner, McCain, McConnell have to understand that they are on the way out. A revolution is coming in the conservative movement. These guys don't fit. They are not the solution they have been and are part of the problem. They have designed this mess we are in.

This.

Do y'all actually think the Speaker of the House should call the President a lying POS? Do you actually think that would help the conservative cause?

Boehner doesn't have all the cards, so he has to avoid making blunders that would only cost him political capital.

Just because he says it, doesn't mean that he believes it. Politicians say lots of things.

Yeah what a jerk. We should man up and do whatever it takes to balance the budget now so we can send our country into another recession.
