| Shanle's a free agent, unless you mean not resigning him. All the players that would save us money wouldn't be worth cutting outside of Jenkins, and that would only save $2.5 mil(enough to get one mid level player). Maybe that could snag Butler. The other option is to cut Thomas($2.5), Sproles($2.25)or rescind Ivory's tender($2). It's a position that has depth with greater needs elsewhere. Strief saves about $2.25 mil but we are already thin at tackle. I'm not sure I'd give any of these guys up to take a chance on Butler outside of Jenkins. Reply • Back to Top |
