I know we had some people on here who discussed this a while back so I figured I'd start something for everyone to post their results.

Anyone think they have a legit shot at qualifying? I'm doing the workouts this year as a barometer to see if I'd have a chance next year if I really busted my ass. So no real dreams of making it this year, just seeing where I stack-up. Workout #1 looks like a mother fricker.

Proceed through the sequence below completing as many reps as possible in 17 minutes of:

40 Burpees
75 pound Snatch, 30 reps
30 Burpees
135 pound Snatch, 30 reps
20 Burpees
165 pound Snatch, 30 reps
10 burpees
210 pound Snatch, as many reps as possible


Seems like essentially a combination of the max burpees workout from last year and the snatch ladder workout. What's everyone shooting for? I'm hoping to finish the 135 Snatches and then everything after that is gravy. I can only do 2-3 Snatches with 165 when 100% rested, no chance I could do any after making it through that workout. If I get to those I just stop.

That's a brutal sequence. Burpees are the one Crossfit move that my body does not like very much....they suck

Atleast we got one solid, funny flame. The rest of yal's were pretty weak. I expected better fellas. This is an entire thread devoted to the pinnacle of the Crossfit season. Haters gotta bring their A-games!

If any of y'all wanna try something a little different I'd reccomend Gym Jones they've got a lot of narcissistic bull shite but once you get through all that it's some solid stuff.

We know. You've made your presence known in every Crossfit thread ever started. Your grievances against this cruel and senseless monster known as Crossfit have been noted.

I concur... I am hoping just to finish up the 135 snatch reps.

But I am coming off a 3 month break from crossfit so this should be nice start.
